DO NOT RECOMMEND – Unresponsive, Misleading, and Emotionally Draining Experience

I’m a single woman with a disability, and this organization has made what was already a difficult situation even harder. I was approved through Health Net over a month ago to receive furniture and a deposit for my apartment. Since then, I have called more than 15 times, sent emails, and even gone in person—only to be ignored and passed around from one person to the next.

At first, I dealt with Beatriz, then Sula, and eventually was told my case had been escalated to managers Michael and Myra—none of whom followed through or helped me. I was recently assigned someone new named Jackie, and still, nothing has happened.

They made promises and never delivered. They continue to lie and say they’ve responded to me when they haven’t. Meanwhile, I’m left without the help I was supposed to receive. This has caused unnecessary stress and hardship.

It’s deeply concerning that a nonprofit organization—funded and trusted to help vulnerable people—can operate with such negligence. I question whether they should even be allowed to keep their nonprofit tax status. Something about how they are handling funds and cases feels suspicious.

If you’re working with them through Health Net, I strongly urge you to request a different provider. I will be leaving this review up until I am paid what I am owed. If there is still no resolution, I will be filing formal complaints with the Board of Consumer Affairs and the IRS Tax Exempt division.

This has been an unacceptable and heartbreaking experience. Do better.

I called to inquire about housing services and spoke with Beatriz. She sent me a few text messages, set up an intake the following week and I never heard from her. I called later in the week and she claimed she had the wrong phone number, which she texted me and I know she had the right number. So we set up another intake appointment and once again, I never heard from her. I emailed her yesterday and asked if there is someone else I can work with and she replied that she'll see what she can do. I noticed on her email signature that she's a manager.

I hope corporate reads this because I have a feeling I'm not the only one getting the runaround.

I was on the verge of being homeless until I heard about the Housing Program BleHealth and they did everything in their power and help me with everything especially Beatrice.I thank everyone for being so kind and patient with me.And I would recommend anyone to this program thank you God bless them all.

I found about this company through my child's health insurance. They helped us with the security department and first month's rent. It took a while (started process in January 2025) to complete the process and the communication was not the best but the service is free so it's worth the wait. I am now in my new place and it's June 2025. I would suggest having funds available to move just in case things don't move fast enough because they can still help you even if you have to move before they receive the funding.

My husband was referred to this company for housing support back in February and we still haven’t received any help or follow up... i’ve tried reaching out multiple times with no response... At this point we may need to notify his Medi-Cal health plan to ask for additional support or to be referred to a different housing support company, I understand there can be delays or staffing issues, but it’s been months with no communication. this has been incredibly frustrating especially since he really needs the housing.
