I was a patient at the now closed Ashby clinic and the care there was pretty terrible. You need to advocate for yourself like your life depends on it. After having shingles, being told I was pre-diabetic, and after an MRI showing a massive knee injury - there was zero follow up from the doctors there. They shut down any requests for vaccines, surgery, and medicine. If you want to suffer with whatever health crisis you are going through completely alone, this is the clinic for you.

Lifelong Medical Care provides great service. They have both an outdoor covid testing site as well as an outdoor flu vaccination site. Their medical offices on 6th street are back open to the public. The 6th street office requires 100% social distancing, but the staff are extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. I've personally been a patient of West Berkeley Family Practice for twenty years and have never had a single complaint. My doctor and the nurses and staff at WBFP have always taken such excellent care of me and all of their patients. Thank you Lifelong Medical Care!

My primary care practitioner put in a referral for me to see a nutritionist, back in June. I went to the nutritionist appointment (at a separate clinic), only to be turned away because the doctor I had scheduled with didn't work there anymore, and I was told that I would need to get a new referral.

I went back to my PCP, and told him what had happened. He said he would put in a request for a new referral.

It is now January, and I still do not have my new referral. I have talked to my PCP about this three times. I have called the administrative offices twice. I do not know where the ball is getting dropped, but somebody along the line is totally ignoring my pleas for help. I have been sick for a very long time.

The Entire staff and Doctors are wonderful... I have never had a better Medical group. I have had 11 surgeries starting at the age of 19 and in 34 years I have been to numerous doctor Offices.

A wonderful nonprofit organization that provides healthcare to people without insurance from babies to geriatrics. Good people for a great cause. From Doctors to dentist who are willing to work for less money for a worthwhile cause.

Please don't go to lifelong , or you just put your health at Risk. The Staffs in lifelong do not Care about your Health, all they want is your Insurance Money. And you have to wait for a long time to have your health Problems resolved.
