came in for my appointment and was actually considering switching over to this office, but after today’s experience, I won’t be returning. The receptionists were rude and unwelcoming, with no customer service skills at all. My medical assistant didn’t greet me or introduce herself, which made the visit feel very impersonal. The only positive part of my experience was the doctor—he was excellent. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff left a really poor impression.

If I could leave zero stars, I most definitely would. Reading the other reviews goes to show that I’m not overreacting. The girls at the front desk are lazy and lack work ethics. I hope they see this too. The paperwork backlog is outrageous, they never answer the phone, are rude, and simply DONT do their job. They don’t do a DAMN THING. It seems like they’re only there to say they work in a medical office and carry around a damn Stanley cup. The dental desk ladies and the doctors there are amazing, but the receptionists at the Native American Health Center need serious reevaluation, and the supervisor should be fired for being just as lazy. I’m definitely reaching out to a higher authority, because this is just unacceptable.

Absolutely horrendous, Ive gone here for a year. A nurse wrote down a random weight and height size for my 1 year old because she was impatient with her crying, the doctor thought she lost weight and got shorter. The nurse tugged her around, and kept rolling her eyes at her crying, I wouldn't let her touch her. Every time I've called I get sent to a random department, get passed around, or hung up on. Every single time I ask for an appointment they don't know how or what to do. Why in the hell would you schedule a phone appointment for my child to get immunizations

This establishment has made trying to get prenatal care a nightmare, every time for a week now I’ve been trying to get an appointment only to be told “ we will call you tomorrow “ only to be told “ she’s not here to schedule your appointment “ I don’t know who “she” is but why is only one person able to make an appointment. I was also told “she’s been gone for a week “ so it makes it extremely frustrating to know I was really not going to be help and was just being pushed off

Urgent Feedback on Recent Service Experience

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the service I received at the Native American Health Center. As a new patient, I called in and was met with unprofessionalism – my first call was abruptly hung up in my ear. On my second attempt, I was promised that my calls would be returned, but that hasn’t happened. I have yet to even see a doctor. The level of service I received is well below par, and I am truly disgusted by the company’s services and staff. It’s disheartening to encounter such poor care as a patient seeking medical attention. I hope they address these issues promptly and improve their service quality.

So sad to say but the care is very poor. You make an appointment for a dental exam that took 6 months to get in, and work is needed but they clean the lower said and tell you to call back to finish your cleaning work..... And it maybe 3 or more months away if you're lucky. The other work is just put on hold. They are polite as they screw you.!!! No true care about patient's just getting paid.😠

I've dealt with Native for 7 years. The phone system has always been a problem. Whether they actually bother to answer or you get placed on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on is up to them. I have had multiple issues with appointments-not being scheduled at all, being scheduled without my consent (I was literally TOLD I had a phone appointment today with my provider), or showing up to appointments without the proper provider/hygienist taking care of my appointment despite calling to confirm. This is another issue that has gone on for years-after Dr. Trotta inappropriately touched me without a female nurse in the room years ago (illegal and they never did anything) I asked to not be seen by male providers-they attempted to schedule me w. Male providers multiple times after. I have been asking for an ultrasound referral for months-having to remind my doctor to do her job. A referral was placed on Aug. 3-I was never contacted about it or made aware of it and just received a message today With the referral information-27 days later. Last but not least, Rosio (I think that's how it's spelled) was supposed to contact me for mental health services. She didn't for a while until I asked again and then she would call from a Google Voice number and not bother to answer when I called back. We finally scheduled an appt. And-nothing. I called her twice-no response. I called the health center for an appt. And she just so happened to answer the phone. Her excuse ? She double booked her patients that day and what could she help me with. No apologies , nothing. Megan(my provider) Shirlene/Sharlene (Supervisor) and Rosio( Therapist) have spoken with their actions and have repeatedly shown that they do not care. Avoid the anxiety and stress and constant empty apologies and find a better health center.
