Every service I've received, has been nothing but good, which is counseling and medication monitoring. Easy intake previous, got the counselor I requested by luck.I have been doing sessions for 9 weeks now with my counselor and couldn't be happier. My Practitioner is very helpful with my meds, caring and knew my history pretty decently, so they do some research before hand.
No, nobody has paid me. I work in this exact line of work at another business, and for what they have to deal with day in day out, is tough work, they get treated like crap. I sat there in the waiting room and have watched people be downright nasty to the receptionist and other employees, and that's just normal so they say. Which it is.

Cut these people some slack, their doing what most don't want to do, and deal with a tough population AND for probably not the best pay in the world either.

Only one worker helped me at all. That particular person was not a doctor nor therapist.

The doctor and pa didn't like me asking to get off medication. I got off the medication anyway.

Comcare Services Suck Overall. I Had a Therapy Set Up With Them The Therapist Quit and She Said Her Supervisor Would Cal to Schedule With a New Therapist. The Supervisor Never Called Back So I Decided To Move Elsewhere For Therapy. They Also Did Medication Management For Me (Right Now Only Phone Appointments Apparently) Had an Appointment Scheduled Waiting For the Appointment. When I Called the Office to Follow Up 15 minutes after the Scheduled Appointment Time, the Receptionist Stared The Doctor Attempted To Cal But there Was No Answer. An absolute lie I Offered to Send A Screenshot of My Cal Record But of Course They Could Care Less.. and Tried Rescheduling the Appointment at a Later Date Because I Guess the Doctor Did Not Feel Like Making a Call for My Phone Appointment.. and YES They Had My Correct Phone Number I Have a Voicemail for Appointment Confirmation! Comcare overall Sucks .

Some of these reviews are clearly people lying or being paid to leave positive reviews. ComCare is ONLY after people's money while their therapists lack the tools to provide quality psychotherapy. My daughter is a stay at home mother, her husband makes the primary income so his income is her income. They refused service for her despite her having left her last job due to the pandemic (when they claim they have funding specifically for that part of the demographic affected) despite being low income and despite the fact that her being unemployed but married to someone who is employed, that didn't "count" to ComCare employees as income.

So they accepted her husband for services for a fee since he is the one working.

Now her husband has stopped virtual therapy because they suddenly increased the fee without any prior notification AND the therapy was not up to par or helpful.

With ComCare receiving funding for their organization from various avenues, I'm not sure where exactly it is going besides lining some millionaires pockets because they are of very little help to the low income, marginalized and people who need the mental health services the most.

What a disappointment. I hope people are able to find services that truly help them because the affordable therapy "resources" in Wichita are

I have an absolute wonderful review for the pre team that must see you to determine the best treatment and counsel. The staff and social workers and psychologists and psychiatrists are caring and kind and know you more than you know you. They want the very best and as long as you remain helpful in your own process you can be fast in approaching a calmer life
I have to update my review
I am still in agreement with how I rate the people at ComCare , the front office that will sit forever entering my records requests from over 10 other health Dr's and specialists....and the young man who never fails to hold the door open and greet me, Dr Connie Jacob's whom has gone above and beyond, however, I can see and have seen a cpl people here recent that shouldn't be there counseling anyone. I don't at all have an issue financially seeing they were only ones who would take me when my husband lost his job and I ins. ComCare Mental health does need closer appts and more often for those really suffering depression and anxiety especially during these difficult times and not rely on a phone call.

First, my therapist deserves five stars. I'd seen six different therapists before coming to Comcare and this was the first time I felt like i was having any progress as as if I had connected enough with someone to actually share. My issues -- no matter how small or insignificant they seemed (which of course only makes you feel worse for getting hung up on something small) was always validated and I was always given the assistance and encouragement to seek self improvement and self worth.

However, my meds manager was absolutely horrendous. I was put on medication that did not treat my diagnosis or my symptoms and when i would report that it did not work I had the dosage upped and told to give it more time. It did nothing and continued to do nothing for the entire year I was on the assigned medication despite insisting that they did not help. I eventually stopped going to see them all together because why spend money on medication that doesn't work?

I have been coming to this clinic for several years now. I've had a few sessions of therapy. I wouldn't recommend going to therapy here because the therapists routinely rotate through. I've seen three different medication nurses and I've only had problems with one. The others were wonderful, very caring of my needs and very kind. Also, they have a sliding scale fee so anyone is able to be seen here. I highly recommend this place if you need mental health care on a budget!

Didn't like my first Dr she told me I'm on too much meds and that she couldn't help me but then I found a wonderful new Dr who took me off most of my meds and I'm doing so much better now
