My wife and I liked coming to this spa once a month however this week their communication was very disappointing.

We called yesterday to see if we could make an appointment for later that day. Understandably they didn't have any availabilities but we came in person to make an appointment for a later date, today @ 5:30 PM. I put down my information and confirmed by appointment details with their booking system.

Today we came in around 10 minutes early and check in like normal. Then 5:30 PM comes around and one of the ladies comes out and asks us if we can come back at 6:10 instead because the last person came in late for their appointment and no one is available.

So they took in a late show appointment and now have to delay all subsequent appointments because they acquiesced to someone with poor time management.

BEWARE: They DEMAND a huge tip at the end! Minimum 15 dollars per person! I wish they would just be up-front about the charge but only mention it at the end and they wouldn't really let you pay less without a fight. If the tip is not optional, it should be explicitly put into the price. Felt scammed

I have been to HMB Wellness Spa for a massage over 7 times now! I can't say enough nice things about my experiences. The prices are incredible and I leave feeling so relaxed.
I'm specifically loyal to ✨️Jing✨️. She is so talented. I didn't need to tell her that I've been working out my shoulders and upper glutes lately.... she knew instantly after a quick assessment of my muscles. As always, she was able to magically release the tension in those areas.
I recommend getting the 90 minute deep tissue massage 💆🏼‍♀️ You won't regret it!

My favorite massage place in Half Moon Bay!

Tony, the owner, has been a masseuse for almost 20 years and is truly a healer. He can sense where it hurts without even needing to tell him. I come out feeling rejuvenated and relaxed every time, and any pain or discomfort I had is gone.

The price is reasonable for the quality of services! The staff is very good too.
