Recently had a family member stay for 7 days. I’m not stranger to hospital stays for extended periods of time so needless to say I dreaded it. To my great surprise, everyone from the ICU to being out in regular room really exceeded all expectations. A few honorable mentions: April, Amy, Erica, Veronica, Shelby in the ICU..Meg from RTT, Evan from PT, Tanner, Michael from the 120s hall and I’m sure there’s more but those made a lasting impression. Of course Dr. Wool and Dr. Desai, too. Thank You!!!!!

Every single staff member that I had the pleasure to have dealt with while I was there was absolutely fantastic! Very prompt, & caring! Especially nurse Ashley for getting IV in on right hand! 1st person to ever be able to do that!

My visit for surgical procedure was exceptional except for check in. There wasn't anyone ahead of me in check in & it took 25 minutes to do so, & I had pre-registered online. Surgery was waiting on me, came out 3 times to check & see if my admit paperwork was done. There was 2 women at check-in & one was talking so loud, nonstop to the other one & nothing was getting done. She wasn't busy doing unknown duties because she wasn't working on anything, just talking & flapping & waving her arms all around as she talked. Once she finally called my name, it took less than 2 minutes to sign releases, complete admission, print out papers & I was immediately on my way to surgery. From that point on the staff, including Doctor, Nurses & support staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable & well skilled. Environment was clean & well stocked. 5+ stars to surgery & recovery department.

The entire experience from admitting to discharge was incredible. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I felt completely comfortable and in great hands with the medical team.

Nice staff, took good care of me, everyone was kind and pleasant and I felt like things were handled accurately and safely. Couple of minor things could have been better. After going into procedure area, nurses asked me questions before actually allowing me into my little cubical area. It was done at foot of bed, without curtain around us and another patient laying in next bed with full visual and audio of all questions/answers. It made it awkward. After procedure, nurse was in a bit of a hurry and although she told me results of my procedure, she forgot to wait for doctor to come and speak with me and was pushing me out of area in wheelchair when we encountered the doctor in the hall and he stopped and told me. Nurse apologized for her mistake and doctor was very nice about it. Would definitely use facility again as I understand things don't always run perfectly and the actual medical care was very good.

Everything was perfectly fantastic until getting to the attending triage nurse whom clearly only listens to respond.
Forcing the initial incident for the visit to be ignored.

Don't dare answer any questions that might potentially deviate from the point of youre visit.

Nope! Don't do it! don't dare offer you're previous records or xrays!
Don't do that! And absolutely! Don't possibly know more about you're body! No! No!
The attending physician hasn't any conception of "thresholds".
Can clearly not relate to an anatomy that more than half the bodies bones have been broken & has had 27 surgeries.

The lack of experience, The blatant raw lack of professionalism & lack of assumptions was gross! Plain & simple!
I wanted nothing but Xrays. I got them along with "CT's", however the treatment by the attending physician was absolutely not conducive to my over all betterment. It's obvious previous "patients" with addictions has created a standard inducing ignorance of negligence & inability to actually hear or attend appropriately.

May physicians whom ASSume & judge invoking mistreat encounter every bit of themselves should they ever have pre-existing issues that are quickly dismissed & ignored.

I needed point blank bottom line answers as to if anything in me was broken. Especially any part of the 6.5 pounds of metal on my spine.
That hospital is at morgue temperature add allergic reaction to internal metal causes nauseous & physical discomfort. Add abnormally high pain threshold causing the inability to think due to the mental struggle to withhold & maintain physical pain. Last thing on my mind are drugs! Grow up physicians! Not everyone wants them or is interested in holding up & taking the amount time that was unnecessarily wasted. Which is souly what prompted this review & every bit as to why I walked out.

Well organized process moved quickly, from check-in to surgery to recovery and discharge. All hospital employees, nurses, and doctors were extremely competent and professional. Made what could have been an unpleasant visit far less stressful. Excellent facility and care. Thank you!

I was scheduled to have a colonoscopy at Prattville Baptist Hospital on July 11. I had not met the doctor yet and I was apprehensive anyway about the procedure. The staff at the hospital couldn't have been nicer. Every person that had anything to do with me explained everything they were doing and did everything they could to put my mind at ease and make me as comfortable as they could. I honestly could not have asked for better care.
