If you need attention to an elderly parent and need FMLA paperwork so you can assist your parent this is not the place to go. They miss read the xray did not give medication for pain. Refused to fill out paperwork for me so I could attend to my mother unless I was a patient. I only need paperwork to stay compliant. Dr refused to call back and front desk is not who you want to talk to if you need help. Just guess ing you could go anywhere and get better service for your parent and for you so you can help them. Our new dr filled out the for and it almost took him 3 min and they wanted me to come in as a patient and charge $2-300 they could not even tell me how much they would charge

You can make a new patient, same day urgent care appointment online! Prompt attention from front desk. Kate was empathetic and efficient. Dr. C saw me within 30 min of walking in the door (and filling out required new patient forms). Impressive, since I only decided to come 85 minutes prior! Highly recommended and efficacious!

If you want a doctor who will go even a LITTLE above and beyond for you, this doctor's office should NOT be your choice. I have needed medical paperwork filled out by Dr. Huston and simply faxed in for a week and a half now. He wouldn't fill it out until I made ANOTHER appointment. I obliged. When I got there, he looked at my neck and told me I needed neck x-rays. I have never had a problem with my neck! I had the x-rays done, he came back into the room and said "Just as I suspected. Your neck looks fine"! I could not believe it. My jaw dropped. He then told me (and I quote this word for word) "I used to like being a doctor. Now, with all the paperwork involved, I hate it". I got the feeling like he wanted to get more money out of me before he signed the medical papers. He ended up waiting two more days before sending in the paperwork. Two days later, my supervisor called to inform me that he had filled out the paperwork incorrectly. I have been sitting at home, LOSING MONEY, because he cannot fill out a simple form. I'm a flight attendant, so in order to return back to work after a long sickness or injury, I have to be cleared from my doctor. My complaint is not just with Dr. Huston. The office staff and receptionists are practically incapable of doing their job. They complain loudly about other patients and their own medical staff within earshot of the waiting room. I sat and listened to them speak poorly of an old man who had just left the premises. They do not return phone calls. They have kept me waiting for a week and a half on these papers. They could easily help to speed this process up! If you are trying to find a new doctor's office, please choose a different one! If you don't heed my advice...don't say I didn't warn you! After Dr. Huston sends in this paperwork, I am done forever with Oso Niguel Healthcare Center.

I have been coming here for years. My regular Doctor is Dr. Houston, but anytime I have an issue I walk in, they see me in a very reasonable time frame and have always done a great job. Folks are professional, friendly, and seem to enjoy their jobs.

I've been very happy with all the staff and with Dr. Lee as my primary care physician. Dr Lee listens well. She integrates my points of view and preferences when developing treatment plans, not just forcing her first idea on me without discussion (which many doctors do, given today's time pressures on physicians). This office takes blood and urine samples on the premises, so you don't have to make a separate trip to the lab for tests. If you need a fasting blood draw, just choose which evening to fast and show up when they open in the morning for your draw...no need to formally reschedule the draw if you forget and eat something late or go out with friends, just pick another day. The tech even called Quest to be sure we had ordered exactly the type of test needed to answer the desired question...other doctors previously just picked a likely-sounding test at random or tried a bunch, rather than calling to learn which test they should order. This is another example of how they resist the impersonal, time-pressured "caregiving" I've experienced at other offices. Scheduling's easy. Parking's right outside the door. Waiting room is huge and pleasant. Rooms are clean. Billing is clear and efficient. I don't know what else I could ask for in a medical office. (And I'm just a patient, with no other connection with people here. I was concerned at the negative reviews so hope this review is helpful.)

My family has been coming to this practice for 15+ years now. It used to be 4 male doctors' private practice. Then Obamacare came along and they sold their practice to Mission Health. Only Dr. Stefan, of the 4 original doctors is still here. The rest have since retired. 3 new doctors Lam, Lee,and Bello have taken their place. I still see Dr. Stefan most of the time. I've seen Dr. Bello once & liked her too; she listens and involves me in treatment plan. My son who is 19, has gone to Dr. Lam once for a single nausea episode. Ran several tests that cost us over $500. The older docs that used to run this place never did anything like that all these 15 years! So I'd go to anyone but Dr. Lam.

I saw Dr Nichols for a very painful knee injury, barely able to walk, even with a cane. Dr. Nichols was patient and sympathetic , and ordered a MRI and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon who is now caring for me. My knee is healing nicely.

The most efficient and professional urgent care same day appointment service experience I’ve ever had. I recommend this facility and it’s talented, friendly and caring staff.
