When I went for my appointment I was in a rush and went off the address on my calendar appointment. There was a lot of construction on the surface streets that day and when I arrived at the medical building. I was informed Dr Cough had moved to the UCI building. I had tried calling to inform the office I was going to be late but the phone just rang for 26 minutes, while I checked in at the office and hung up. When I checked in I tried to explain to Karla, why I was late and she was very rude and didn’t want to hear my excuses. Of course I didn’t help by mentioning I noticed the women in the office were standing around just talking. One of the women behind the counter came up asked Karla how she was doing and she responded.” Don’t have time for this stuff on Mondays.”

My husband was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease so my schedule with appointments for him have been quite demanding. Imagine receiving multiple text messages for appointments on your phone daily for doctor appointments. It can be quite difficult managing these appointments by text messages you receive daily. My husband called me while I was in the office asking me to pick him up, so I explained to Karla I had to cancel my appointment. When I left the office my husband’s friend called me back and said he would take my husband to lunch so I could keep my appointment. So I immediately went back to the office and explained to Karla I could stay for my appointment. She told me well I’m not sure they can see you now. So she went back to the nurse and asked and I could see they weren’t happy I had returned. They made me wait another 25 minutes and finally took me to a room. I could tell Dr Cough’s nurse wasn’t happy with me. She normally is very nice but she was defending Karla and I could feel the cold shoulder to the comment she made by saying Dr Cough’s office would only be in Irvine next year. I understand I may have been rude myself but I just wanted them to understand sometimes people have loved one’s who are ill and maybe going through a difficult time. I feel they could have been a little more patient and empathetic towards me as know one ever knows what someone may be dealing with.

As for doctor Cough I think she’s an amazing doctor. I hate to lose her as my doctor

Dr. Raffo is the best and she has been my Obgyn for many years but now live out of state. She was quick to order necessary labs for potential cancer diagnosis. I was in California for a short time and she made it happen. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Raffo and her staff.

Susan Mendelsohn is the most amazing doctor that I have ever gone to. Her kindness, knowledge, and professionalism is awesome. The entire office, both 200B and 200C were the best in attending to my appointments. I would highly recommend this team to all females!!!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Amy Peters and her nurse Maria. I am nearing the end of my second pregnancy under their care and this one has been filled with unique challenges. My husband was deployed for a large majority of the pregnancy and in a freak accident while walking with my toddler I ended up breaking my leg and needing surgery at around 7 months pregnant. Dr. Peters and nurse Maria have always been supportive and kind. Maria even had a similar injury in the past and took the time to share some tips and tricks for healing. I have never felt rushed in appointments and I always leave feeling like my questions are answered and my feelings/ requests are valid and heard. I am very thankful to have them as my care team and look forward to delivering baby #2 with them here soon!

The front desk girls are awesome!! They are friendly, kind and full of knowledge. It was along wait, but worth the wait for my kind doctor that makes you feel comfortable and gives you all the information you need. I'm grateful for my doctors and everyone that works with him.
