I see Dr. Marleen Yacoob at SCKE as my primary care doctor — she’s amazing — but most of my visits have been with Yaseen Kady, PA-C, and he’s just as incredible. He’s kind, patient, and takes the time to explain every option without rushing or pressuring you. I always feel heard and well cared for. I really trust both of them and couldn’t ask for a better team.

I've been a patient for a number of years and have nothing but great things to say about the care received here. However, what really got me write this review was their patient portal. I'm a relatively new convert to using this, but their responsiveness to RX refills and messages to my doctor is impressive to say the least, wish 6 stars was an option. Not to mention the quick lab results as well. Can't say enough good things about SCKE !

I had a disappointing experience with this office due to their unethical billing practices. I scheduled an appointment for an annual physical, which is fully covered by my insurance. However, they performed additional tests that went beyond the standard scope of an annual physical without notifying or obtaining my consent, resulting in a bill of over $100 for these tests.

Additionally, I was required to schedule a follow-up telehealth appointment to review the results of my physical, for which I was charged another $100+. In my experience, other doctors provide results through a call or a message in the patient portal at no extra charge. It seems unreasonable and unfair to incur additional costs just to receive results from a previously billed appointment.

I was very pleased by seeing Dr Yacoob as my PCP. I was very impressed with her knowledge, compassion and carrying personality.
I was delighted with the staff at SCKE. They were all very caring and professional.
I highly recommend SCKE to all the patient living in Irvine. They also provide access to endocrinologist, Nephrologist , podiatrist and labs at their clinic

I haven't seen the doctor yet, so my experience may change, but this is based on my call to schedule an appointment. I missed a call the previous week due to a referral while I was in a meeting. When I called back, the person I spoke with seemed unprofessional—slurring her speech and making the process unnecessarily difficult. Despite telling her twice that I was likely already in the system, she insisted on collecting all my information again. Eventually, she found me in the system, then asked for my insurance card, only to realize she already had it. Throughout the call, there were ongoing issues with the phone, which she blamed, but it was clear she didn't know how to properly manage calls.

After seeing other reviews mentioning similar concerns about the office staff, I’m hoping the doctor provides a better experience.

I really hope someone from Odyssey Medical group contacts me about a situation with my elderly mother . I have called several times , not one person I have spoken to really act like they care .

Constantly transferred from one person to another and waiting over 30 minutes on several occasions and then transferred to leave a voice message for a call back .Never received a call back yet.

I am appalled with their lack of concern they have for their patients . My mother is bed ridden she has zero mobility. She has a UTI infection and we did exactly what was asked and dropped off the specimen and you say " Sorry no one labeled it with her information!!!. The nurse who it was handed to asked the patient name and it was clearly stated to her and she failed to put my mom's info or the order invoice with it .

These UTI rapidly affect her to the point of almost being septic resulting in week stays in hospital. I asked if she could be started on antibiotics till we can get another specimen to you and was told " Antibiotics is a controlled substance " What ? Then recieve a message the next day saying telling my mom to walk into clinic and give a urine sampler . Mentioning it twice we need you walk in and give us the sample if you want antibiotics to be prescribed. She hasn't walked in over 15 plus years .It feels pointless to even try to seek assistance with this Medical group. Going yo the E.R. is our only option for assistance not her own primary care doctor which is unbelievable and WRONG !!!
