I’ve had good experiences so far. Dr. Ngo is compassionate and knowledgeable. The staff are all friendly and efficient. All of my paperwork was pushed through as they said it would be once I fixed an error on my end. I have a referral to help me diagnose my problem. Again, I feel the staff, Doctors, and nurses are all very nice and very professional.

The worst customer service i have ever experienced. When trying to schedule with a dr they give you no information so I wasted my time days in a row calling. Called once was told my dr needs to fax over referral, which it had already been done. Called back next to day to set appointment, man says the dr needs to look over referral before setting appointment so I won’t be able to make appointment today, they will reach out… why not tell me when I called the first time? I don’t want to waste my time and there time by calling back and fourth. Got 2 missed calls from this place, not one VM was left. Obviously they are closed early Saturday so bad to wait till Monday to call and see what was up. Note on my profile said my voice mail was full so they couldn’t leave a VM to confirm appointment. Not professional at all. Whoever the man is has a serious attitude issue.

I really enjoy the staff and the office isn’t bad. What I have an issue with is their punctuality. I scheduled an appointment for 8am so I would be the first there when they open and the first seen. I still sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes. If you weren’t going to “be ready” for me until 8:20, then you should have scheduled my appointment for 8:30. You’re wasting my time when I’m here and ready but you’re not. They need better time management and slightly better customer service in the office. They lady who I talk to over the phone sounds like a zombie with no personality and she’s not very kind when you have an issue. She acts like is a hassle to do her job when it’s a little harder. I really like this clinic and I won’t go anywhere else because they take my insurance. But I wish it was a little more put together. I don’t expect perfection, just kindness and compassion when in this line of work.

This is a county clinic.
Which means the doctor has to KISS the butt that, keep his business a float. The doctor there will also delay and waste your time. I told the doctor that both of my shoulders needed images.

The referral he gave me only had one shoulder to be imaged, when I comforted him about it, he will say make another appointment to address other area. As thou people have gas money to be wasted because of his mistakes.

The clinic will also send you to a doctor who won't accept your insurance. If you are awaiting SSDI, this behaviors will certainly prolong progress which make a Disability decision longer. ( I alleging he want to get you to schedule more visit them what is necessary. ) which mean more money for this clinic. The doctor will also undermined your complaints. Before x_rays or MRI has been performed. Making things extremely hard on you.

Also, I alleging the doctors has close tries to SSDI representative. He will make your complaints look inconsistent. Which is a Big Red Flag when you are trying to get approved for Disability.

The office is very, very small in structure, very undered staff, and they are extremely unorganized. Think twice before going here..especially if you need your medical records to reflect accuracy and honesty.

I have been going to Laguna Beach Community Clinic for over 30 years. The doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate. I’m super bummed that my doctor, Dr Bent retired last year because he had been my doctor for 35+ years and is an amazing doctor and an amazing person.but I’m now seeing Dr. Rubal who interned under Dr. Bent. He also, is a kind, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable.. I would not change facilities or doctors under any circumstance. They are the best!!

They rescheduled my appointment to “set up a visit with an obgyn” twice the day off rescheduling it four weeks out the first time, then another week all while having an active uti … think they’d rather wait until your dying and even then the preliminary appointment to visit an actual doctor can’t be sped up. I really wanted to love this place, some of the doctors are great, sone nurses are too, but clearly the people helping pregnant women are clowning around. Come here if you’re desperate for at least a call back if you want actual care, doubt it’s happening here.

Their dental clinic is a life saver. They take any insurance, including DentiCal, and if you don't even have that, they only charge you based on your income. You can usually get an appointment within a week, but I was in horrible pain with a molar that needed to come out. I called at 10 in the morning and explained my circumstances, and they had that thing out of my mouth, and me, out of pain, by 3 that afternoon.

Today I called them because the referral they sent me to didn’t accept my insurance. I was so frustrated and on the verge of crying cuz because I have a disability and I was already frustrated because the woman at the company I was referred to laughed at me. When I talked to the male receptionist at Laguna Beach Community Clinic laughed at me too. People should NOT be treated like this. No one!!!
