Sonder Beauty Studio in Lafayette is such a calming and welcoming space. From the moment you walk in, the aesthetic instantly puts you at ease and the staff could not be friendlier. Danielle truly cares about what is best for her clients and always make you feel taken care of. I love that they offer water or tea when you arrive or leave which is such a thoughtful touch. Their product selection is also really nice and high quality. Every experience I’ve had there has been wonderful and I always leave feeling refreshed and cared for.

Danielle has so much passion and dedication that she puts into each treatment and I absolutely LOVED my facial from her. Her facials/treatment is so great, she has great energy, very kind, and tends to your specific needs. She puts a lot of thought and care into giving you the best experience and results possible! At the end of the facial she also gives you tips on how to properly continue taking care of your face so it stays glowing. The Salon is also Beautiful!

I just experienced Sonder Beauty Studios for the first time and was absolutely blown away! This mother-daughter owned facial spa is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. The space is meticulously designed - super clean, chic, and luxurious with thoughtful and beautiful details that didn't go unnoticed.

My facial with Marlies was truly sublime. The facial massage and acupressure techniques were deeply healing and relaxing. She also incorporated unique methods like soft brush lymphatic massage that I’ve been so curious to try and felt incredible. The products used were deeply hydrating, and my skin just soaked everything up!

Both the mother and daughter are fabulous - kind, experienced, and clearly passionate about skincare. I'm especially excited about their upcoming 2-hour specialized facial massage treatment that I've been searching for throughout the Bay Area!

This is such a cute skincare studio! I had been looking for a “go to” facial spot since I moved to the area a few years ago. Danielle and Marlies have created such a welcoming and relaxed environment. I love the location and that it’s an a convenient place for parking - so much easier than going anywhere in downtown Walnut Creek. I’m big on aging gracefully and not interested in injectables or using lots of chemicals on my skin. Danielle and Marlies use clean ingredients and have a great selection for purchase in their store. Sonder is perfect for treating your skin and giving it a “boost” and some extra moisture. Can’t recommend them enough!

Sonder Beauty Studio is amazing!!! I’m going in for my third facial in the past few months this morning and I’m so happy. Danielle always takes such great care of my skin and it’s honestly never looked or felt better after going to Sonder regularly. I love the products she uses and I love how educated Danielle and her Mom and business partner Marlies are about skincare and ingredients. And last but certainly not least, I laugh so much when I go in there because I love the energy of this place! They’re great people and they do amazing things for your skin. Treat yourself!
