I got new insurance and selected DAP for my primary care physician.
It took me 6 phone calls, 3 visits to their physical location and 22 days before I could see my new doctor.
Most of the 6 calls were due to the DAP staff actively trying to withhold information from me, so I had to keep calling over and over again to get simple answers.
And I had to drive over multiple times because they continued to repeatedly refuse to tell me very basic information.

After I realized that the staff was happy to go out of their way to NOT convey information to me, I've lost confidence in the organization.
It was made very clear to me that the staff of DAP doesn't care about about me, my health, or my time.
So after only one appointment with my new doctor, I'm changing doctors once again.

It would be nice if you guys helped new folks instead of sending us to different offices and then those offices don’t follow through. Twice I have had to return to get the help I asked for on first visit. That’s 4 hours of bus rides mind you

🇺🇸 ATTENTION VETERANS 🇺🇸
How can a non-profit organization, that receives HUGE 💵 Federal 💰 Funding, toss VETERANS to the curb
In a no notice move, DAP decided it no longer wanted to provide critical healthcare to Veterans, I'm one of those Veterans, and, if you have questions concerning this issue, contact me, I'm more than happy to give you all the details. Especially since the majority of DAP employees don't know how to return phone calls.
BTW- KESQ News Channel 3 is blatantly ignoring this situation as well, could it be that one hand is washing the other?

First thing their staff is very RUDE over the phone REFUSEING my little 8 yr old a visit, and telling me I can take him to an urgent care instead. This is the second time their staff has refused my son a visit. I should report their whole clinic. Very RUDE, and really not concerned about your children's health at all! Take your children anywhere but here!

The dap dental for adults in cathedral city has such an amazing staff! They are very welcoming and polite thank you Anita Garcia and Ely Felix for being so cordial and professional. The dentist Monica Lenhof is just the sweetest dentist I’ve ever meet in my life she is just so caring and genuine almost like very motherly let alone she actually tries to get to know her patients and calms the anxiety and nerves you have going in there! I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who lives in the area. I’ve had very bad experiences with other dental offices and their staff members where they just seem so miserable and are very rude. This dental office staff go above and beyond to meet you needs! Not only that they are on top of appointment reminders as well. Trust me if you have had any bad experiences in the past with dental offices. This dental office will change your way of trust towards dental offices!

Today I was supposed to have an appointment with Blaire Heath for my follow up and they called me early as they said at 10:30am and she didn’t call back and even though I tried calling them back and they couldn’t take my call while they put me on hold and I send them a voicemail and they didn’t call back. There terms have a changed and sometimes it’s hard to remember what I need to do or how to setup for another appointment so DEP in Palm Springs was a ripoff. I’ll have to find another psychiatrist who can keep control and responsible for my medication and follow up sessions.

Update December 2024:
My latest doctor also quit DAP. How bad is the top management team that every physician, tech, nurse and others leave DAP saying it’s so terribly run? Greed and profit over patient care. Telling doctors that see 14 patients a day they need to see 25 a day because it’s a “missed opportunity.” I’ve never been a member of a worse run medical system. I’ve had probably 5 different primary care providers, 3-4 different therapists, and a revolving door of underpaid greeters (some who are obviously not happy to be there) over the last 7 years. How does this continue without consequences? Why hasn’t there been a news exposé about DAP? What about these recycled C-Suite execs from the last fiasco that ended with people criminally charged? Something isn’t right here. Will I look into it all? Maybe contact a few news agencies to investigate? Might be a good project.

Original post:
No one seems happy working here. I've had now 4 primary care providers in the short time I've beengoing to DAP. In my experience, most providers and nurses complain about senior staff, hours, people problems. Most quit after short stints from what I see. You have to ask why the turnover is so high? It sounds like a toxic environment to work in. All those great facilities, staff and $$ flowing into there you'd think they could concentrate more on making a healthy environment to work and receive services.
