Came in to do treatment mid January things where going great Vanessa treated me really well and professionally. Very good at her job. Started the program as an intensive outpatient treatment 9 hours a week over the phone 2 hours Mon-Thurs 1 hour on Friday. Julia my first day counselor was amazing felt comfortable with her. I was going to community college had recently gotten a job things where actually looking great for me. Until one Wednesday after work I called to drug screen because you have to once a week. I had not gone the week before no biggie my counselor told me it's okay since it was my first time not going. So I called and this lady Karen told me "I had been discharged which I hadn't, because obviously my counselor would of told me the day prior. I was upset left the program, unfortunately I relapsed that week under high stress and feeling overwhelmed emotionally. I decided not to continue my cycle. An took the courage to re-enroll. A few days pass bay and I came back to the same facility asking if I could come back. An guess who was at the front desk Karen and I told her. Hey I relapsed, I would like to re enroll and literally instead of assisting me she tells me" I self discharged." Being so unprofessional telling me very rudely I self discharged. When the week before she told me I had been discharged. This lady is so unprofessional and shouldn't be at the front desk. I personally speaking for myself and not others whom have successfully completed the program had a bad experience at this place. Now I'm at a treatment center where I feel that they really care and show it. Very welcoming place and I will not mention the facility for respect purposes. I'm so glad I made the decision to find a different alternative route in my recovery. God bless any addicts out there struggling with the same issue. Find the place where you fit in and feel appreciated and respected because I sure didn't at TownsHealth service unfortunately.
