Rhea Drug Store is a top-notch locally owned pharmacy, one we love supporting. From my childhood forward, it was a fixture for my family, in its previous incarnation of Churchman-Rhea and now as Rhea Drug Store. My grandmother lived a little over a block away, and we grandchildren spent many happy hours roaming through the pharmacy to look for candy bargains and on one memorable occasion, knocking over a display of 7-Up in bottles.

Owners Joe and Mickey Searcy are top-notch human beings who provide service that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I will never forget a cold January day when roads were covered in snow and ice and my spouse had high fever from the sudden onset of pneumonia. Our doctor called in an antibiotic prescription, and though it was Sunday and the roads were icy, Joe drove miles to come to the pharmacy and open it and dispense the prescription to me. I won't forget.

On top of the personalized service Rhea Drug Store offers, there's always an interesting selection of gift items to purchase, many of them locally made, with some tables set aside for marked-down bargains from the gift selections. I highly recommend Rhea Drug Store to anyone living in the Hillcrest-Heights part of the city, or elsewhere in Little Rock, for that matter. Locally owned treasures like this with top-notch owner-neighbors deserve our strong support.

The store itself is messy, but in a down home kind of way. If you're claustrophobic, don't get in there. As for the pharmacy, my significant other switched because of how rude one of the receptionists was to her.

Really great pharmacy. The place is kind of a Little Rock landmark since it has been around for a good while. The store has old pharmacy and soda bottles on a shelf near the ceiling which is a cool way to display the history of the pharmacy. Other than the cool aestetics, the one time I used this pharmacy, I was pleased with the experience. My girlfriend was sick and was prescribed a medication that has apparently become perceived as too much of a liability for many pharmacists to stock. The medication went by the name of codeine with promethazine aka Cough syrup. She was able to get her badly needed couch syrup and I got to see neat artifacts of society's not too distant past. 5 minutes later, I was still looking at old soda and medication bottles after my girlfriends prescription was filled. I would make this my pharmacy if I did not have strong loyalty to another.

Rhea Drug one of the best Drug Stores in Arkansas. In the Hillcrest Area Joe and his staff are all very kind they make every effort to take care of their customers they even offer delivery at a small charge I can not tell you how many times I went to a major pharmacy and they did not have the drugs that my doctor ordered they knew that for the past 10 years I had been taking a drug but it seemed that they were always out when I came in to fill my prescription. I finally gave up an went to Rhea Drug in the past 30 years they have never failed me they always have my meds in stock only one time when it was a new drug did I have to wait a day to get it. So A PLUS PLUS FOR EFFORT and their attention to detaill

I love this store. The owner has great taste, so I never mind waiting on my meds & doing some shopping. You can find the best little treasures & baby gifts at Rhea. Joe, the other owner & pharmacist, is very nice & knows the answer to absolutely anything you ask on medications. They are a staple in Hillcrest. Love them!
