I initially visited Dr. Hart for my VA evaluation, which was completed promptly and efficiently, allowing me to submit the necessary documentation to the VA without delay. Due to the excellent care I received, I have continued to see Dr. Hart regularly. His expertise and guidance have provided me with invaluable tools for managing my mental health. Additionally, the staff at Dr. Hart's office has been consistently compassionate and friendly, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. I highly recommend Dr. Hart and his team for their professionalism and dedication to patient care.

I am a decorated Vietnam war vet and was referred to him through VA community care for help with PTSD management I recently moved from California to Yuma and had been receiving care in California through the VA ...as many combat veterans do. This guy is out of his mind. He wanted to refer me to a witch doctor! lol If it wasn't real my experience would have been funny. He should’ve retired 30 years ago, He is a lazy guy...kind of just hanging on... who wants easy money from the VA but doesn’t want to do the paperwork or anything else properly that is required. He also is very dishonest, contradicts himself and is basically “for sale” to whomever is paying the bill. He will tell you one thing but if you need it in writing will say something different than what he told you to politically garnish favor with those paying him on behalf of the veteran, in my case, so he can get more VA referals. I plan to contact the VA and relate my experience to them in the next day or two. My hope is they do not use this guy any more. He only cares about himself, his wallet and could care less about his patients or writing a truthful report or letter if required because he is too lazy to do the work. Further, the two ladies that run his office lack professional mannerism and courtesy. A really bad overall experience. Stay away! Hopefully any other combat era veterans reading this…or anyone else for that matter will not let this old man waste your time and instead go and find someone else more qualified and professional. My experience with this man was very similar to the gentleman that posted a negative review below. I’m sure there are other qualified psychologists in Yuma but if not, think about driving about 50 miles to El Centro.

I believe is a poor communication with the patiants and staff.
They took 9 months to give a diagnosis for autism, and they only give me 4 pages. And 2 weeks later they call me they forgot to add the notes.
Also, when I went to pick up the report/ evaluation they didn’t notify me that the office was going to be close that week. (The receptionist forgot to mention that)
It’s horrible when are you coming from another state.

This office was helpful to some but a scam to others. They took payment in full after the evaluation and never gave me the report needed for the VA. When I call or even go in to get an update, the front desk gets irrational. They are too busy to even give a time frame of when it would be done. Honestly, they really let me down.

Front desk staff is plan rude. My experience was that it was a scam.

Dr.Hart is amazing!!! Very kind and listens to.you very well!! If you want or need a good person to talk too, he is the one. I highly recommend him. And the secretarys are so kind and compassionate. Call and set up a appointment you wont be disappointed!!! Thanks Dr. Hart and staff.
