Do not go to this doctor/office. Just spent 2 plus hours in the waiting room. Only to have them say computers were down. The " intern" had no idea why my 91 year old parents were there, had not read the paper work that needed to be filled out. Saw him numerous times hanging out with office staff. This is the most disorganized, irresponsible doctors office I have ever been to. Total disrespect of the patients time. Total lack of communication. Indicated they had no authorization to contact patients to let them know. I don't get it. Dr. Kruder himself was no help, basically indicated he would take care of paperwork...why then did parents have to wait 2 plus hours...
My advice, save yourself future frustration and select another doctor. I am sure his medical skill set is acceptable...but give me a break the peripheral operations and organization sucks. The patients do noT come first. Shame shame.

Fortuna Medical Group is awful. Love Steven Kuder but will not go back. Been going there since I moved here 7 years ago. The office staff over books appointments, the guy in charge lies about how many patients are waiting in front you. Waiting time Is usually 4 hours. They cost me hundreds of dollars not informing me of a change in primary physician on my insurance plan. Office staff has been rude on the phone several times. The office told me it's policy to have two appointments just to refill my prescriptions. That is unnecessary and scamming my insurance company. I'm praying Steven Kuder leaves Fortuna Medial Group.

The male receptionist always seems to be indigent when I've spoken with him and I do not believe they have any MDs on staff, only NPs.

Although I find Dr. Barclay knowledgeable, the front office person Olga is the rudest, most incompetent person I have had the not so pleasure of dealing with at that Dr. office. My referral has yet to be received at YRMC as she says the fax will not go through; picking up the phone, so the patient can get the care that has been requested by the provider should and have been received after 11 days. This is incompetence and patient care at the hands of Olga at Dr Barklays office is a ZERO!
Lastly, if you need to cancel your appointment you will need to give a 24 hour notice, and it is posted that a 24 hour notice is 3 working days (8 hours a day x 3 days = 24 hour notice) bazaar- if you do not notice that posting and cancel your appointment in a timely fashion, you will be charged a fee-just fyi.

Update: My MRI referral miraculously was received via the same fax number that she had been “trying for 8 working days” and 11 days after I was seen by the Dr.

As you can see this office has many complaints on Google review about these types of issues and after my appointment and MRI I will be changing providers, my health comes FIRST and FOREMOST and Olga doesn’t give a damn about patient care.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kuder for years and he takes the time to get to know you and what issues you have. Not like other Dr. that hurry to get you in and out so they can see more patience and make more money. He is the best inYuma as far as I’m concerned. I recommend him to everyone. The problem is the owner and staff are rude and do t know how to run a business.

I've been seeing Dr. Kuder (yes he has a PhD) since 2015. Today is August 2, 2023.

He did have bad clerical staff. That person was let go. Yes his CNA staff have to multitask now and then. Newly hired staff are better prepared.

I, as a client, am responsible for my body and my health. Dr. Kuder and I work carefully together on referrals, prescriptions and I am completely grateful for Dr. Kuder's bedside manor and staff. I might suggest when you have an appointment bring a calendar you can write on.

I have an extensive background in healthcare, healthcare administration, and referral management and from the outside in it really looks like the support staff at this facility are either overworked, under motivated, or under educated. It doesn't take 20 days to place a network referral. I shouldn't have to micro manage you via weekly phone calls to ensure my semi-acute referral is placed. Everyone is "in line" here. There is no triage when it comes to care beyond the facility.

You're at risk of miscarriage and need to see an OB for specialized care? You'll have to wait, I have 25 physical therapy referrals to write first.

My first time at Fortuna Med Group was a 5 star. The support staff was really good and spent the time with me as needed. Steven Kuder also took the time to perform an initial work up on me and he was VERY thorough. I am a happy patient there.
