When I first started coming here it was one of the best doctors offices I had ever had. It was refreshing to have a doctor and staff who understood my needs as a gay man. They were super attentive, they listened to my needs, and they took care of me quickly. For about the last year to year and a half though, they have dropped the ball severely. Getting any kind of referral is a nightmare. Two weeks ago I was promised I would have a call back The next day, on a referral that I had already waited on 3 weeks. I still haven't had a call back. It used to be a doctor's office that cared, and now it just seems to be another doctor's office that likes to push us through the door so they can charge my insurance whatever they need to charge them. If you need a referral, I hope you're not in a hurry. I used to get a referral within 24 hours for any other doctors that I needed to go to. Now it takes weeks. If I wasn't moving out of the state I would definitely be looking for a new doctor.

Definitely don’t recommend this office for anyone looking for care. Was informed today that I couldn’t do labs , regardless of the situation. Which is strange to me. I’ve never had a doctor office , or never was informed from a doctor to tell pts they aren’t allowed to do labs. And I work at one myself … With an excuse being “ we don’t do that here, we only do labs on the day of only if the doc approves it”. I asked, what if I am having symptoms , and was told I would need to wait another week to have my needs addressed. I just thought me calling , asking for labs to avoid the chaos and stressful factors at a medical office would be helpful for me and their office. At least that’s how other professional offices I’ve been to always handled this issue. Get labs done before seeing your provider ( a week or few days before) , so that if anything needs to be addressed, it could be there and save everyone the trip. But I guess that’s not a worry of theirs. Then was told I can take my care elsewhere, and would need to figure out all the details after. Just thought this was a funny way to make patients, who are already struggling to find medical care, feel safe and their concerns met.

I have been a patient here for 6 years and I have never had a bad moment. They have helped me navigate life's troubles with care and empathy. Dr. Judith Bergman is the best doctor I have ever had. She listens first to understand and then talks to me. I love this place and I hope they stay here for a long time.

The call center is horrible and doesn't even care to help.

I can ask questions and I get questions back. the medical office is a mess at times and the customer service is limited.

you have one window for checkout and check ins. I was next in line and the staff asked me to move aside for someone who came after. better communication and customer service would be awesome.

now that my doctor is leaving will I even be heard?
I've had issues with this facility for the last 10 years and my doctor was the only lifeline to get anything resolved.

Never had a problem, but It seems like the new front desk people need to learn a bit more about providing services such as refill requests and phone etiquette. I don’t like calling people out but Justin needs to learn that disconnecting a call just because he is frustrated is rude. The services are not free. We are paying and would like some respect and empathy.

1.5 weeks after they said they'd send a referral I have nothing. 1 week since my labs came back and they haven't reviewed them or sent prescriptions.
I have called several times, and all they do is say they'll let my provider know I'm waiting, and then nothing happens.
I tried calling a few minutes ago and their phone lines were down.
EDIT: I just got told that Ethan (my provider) is out of the office for another week, and that policy doesn't allow anyone else to cover for him or fill my prescription. Absolutely ridiculous. This place does not care about patients, only getting that first payment for establishing care, and then they couldn't care less about you.
At this point I don't know if you can even get healthcare here.

EDIT2: They are no longer my PCP. I made an appointment with an online medical group, got an appointment within 12 hours of looking them up, and got my prescription an hour after our call the next morning. From calling to picking up my prescription was less than 24 hours...NOT 2+ weeks.

Spectrum Medical Care truly goes above and beyond! The outreach staff is incredible—they’re friendly, attentive, and do an amazing job at making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They create such a warm and inviting atmosphere, it feels like your home clinic right away.

If you’re looking for compassionate and professional care with a personal touch, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

We have been going here for a year now, and at first seeing all the one star reviews we were wary… though after going - it is great! It is a small place so it easier to talk to your doctor when needed, refills always happen on time don’t even have to ask (thanks my prescriber here, Ari) , and when needing blood work it’s the place right next to it so it’s instant and super easy. Before we were at a big hospital so we were forgotten a lot because of the amount of patients and refills we almost had to “fight” to get them sent through. But once again this place , I think because it is a smaller institution, so much easier. I think this is a good place to go if you’re concerned about getting that one - on - one, because I think you will get that here more than you would a bigger hospital.
