Ever since being deemed as SMI I was put here into Partners and I absolutely get no help at all. I get more better caring people at the Marc Center than I do here. They Counselor is always busy never answers the phone and never returns your voice messages. There's too much going on and half the time the counselor has to change meetings and if the counselor is busy you have to talk to some other stranger on the "Hope Team" Which makes things more complicated. Also there is a lake of privacy in there department. This place is awful, maybe to fair it's understaffed and underfunded, but i feel like I am not getting the help i need at this place.

I came into Dwight's office with a early case of psychosis caused by withdrawal from my meds. The "doctor" proceeds to not believe me and was trying to talk me out of going back on my old antidepressant because "my obsessive thoughts will never get better on that med" literally i was in his office telling him my thoughts weren't mine and God was punishing me but he told me it was just because I was borderline. Yeah if you get dwight as your "doctor" RUN!!!

I for one , will be serviced nowhere else.
This is the only place that has ever taken such a desirous approach to seeing that my needs are considered and taken care of , with honestly and responsibility.
When I was first given the news about being SMI , I was both shocked and embarrassed. Being from Hollywood CA , I was taught that "We" look down on the mentally ill with great distain and discrimination , believing incorrectly that having mental challenges equaled a low intellectual capacity. I had previously been declared nearest the genius percentile in junior high after an I.Q.exame, that was done " for fun" so I was now confused as well.
I issolated. I decided that the doctor who had made my declaration must have got mixed up.
When I made it to PIR I was in a very bad state indeed, in need of medication, case management, and housing.
I received all that I needed and more.. I've received attention , respect and.. Dare I say it? , Love. (Sorry guys the words out. You love your clients..
Oops! I mean your job 😉)
After years of struggling to accept my being SMI , I have my own apartment , I'm an established artist , and I actually taking my meds as perscribed. I no longer think that it'll just go away on it's own. I owe all of this to my higher power who carefully chose those who've been instrumental in my recovery , and though I may never be 100% , I can be the best ,darn 75 you ever saw!😉 Because of the assistance of PIR East Mesa. YOU'RE ALL AMAZING 🎊🎆🎉🎈🎆🎇🎊🎉🎇🎆🎈

Constantly changing casemanagers. A couple times (that I know about) had police involved incidents. Appointments not put into the computer so you go there just to be told nothing is scheduled. Worst of all is the N.P. Susan Anderson, she doesn't listen and switches medications without weaning off first which is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as any professional should know!

I have an active referral but yet they can't seem to answer the phone or call me back (even days later). Seems like an early indication that they do not take well care of their patient's needs...

This place is unprofessional, the mentally misguided will be stick in a maze as a damn lab rat..if it makes their job easier to entertain themselves , they help with a bothersome tone of disgust making one not feel wanted let alone they have a partner in Recovery. I wish most the staff realized just how cruel let alone not educated in mental health or the services they such be familiar with to provide for many lives not just the ones whom have too look at the condescending smiles of the mundane efforts of the cold hearted staff who makes me wish if the shoe was on the other foot..they kick themself..The place needs to be investigated, needs a whole new outlook, it like chimps taking kids on a field trip to the dentist. I'm a client, and sad to say I rather give myself a lobotomy...than have to keep the vicious circle of them doing u a favor in bring one down the road uve already gone down..I seem to run back to self medicate as the doctor who cant seam to look at past records decides what meds by asking what didnt work, not listening to what did, but up the dose when clearly more damage has been done. ALMOST a year of this clinic trial and error, giving me a guilt trip for not wanting to participate in receiving the help I so desperately have longed for..losing my mind as time passes, memories forgotten, as well my beautiful babies there ain't no sunshine when they're gone.., my backassward loving family, my not so near dear friends, my pride in what career I had devoted time to make others feel better bye helping them look good. Was part of a community. The lack of support I need is more than what most can offer. I just dont want to give up hope in getting the recovery from kindminded people as they channel the engergy for many who are trapped in their head..singing this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine , even if I blind ya..lol let's not turn it into he shinning, bad Juno..juju for all involved, no mind, no work no play make a dull day that smacks back, snap out of it.said all the crazy ones in my head..bless us with sound thoughts to not forget the ones lost in the corrupt system, leaders of the loco I am cheering all on to be strong have goodwill to positive change. For the short fused illminded frustration can become frighting when they flip their lid.. 5150 or sucide rises implode self doubts leads a lonely road of misery when misunderstood lacks empathy. Show the way too be a super star..said the rotten falling apple..dont be like me, damn it,cause your dome will be dented too. Frank and Beans...lol yeah I'm ok thanks for asking.

Intake person caused wife to have a panic attack. Said they would call back and didn't. They do NOT keep their word. If this is any indication of their care, look somewhere else.

Carolyn, one of the staff, has been sending me threatening messages and making false claims. Yet she works here?!
