The PA, Jessica was amazing when I finally saw her. However when I got there, no one in the front except another patient waiting. After waiting 20 min and no one came out, I banged on the door and someone came out. She didn’t say sorry and looked at her computer for 5-10 min before asking our names. Another 5-10 min and finally took me back. So they were 30+ min late and no one seemed to care or apologize. If it happens again, I’ll switch to another Dr Jessica gets 5 stars, reception gets zero stars

THE EXPERIENCE WITH VILLAGE MEDICAL WAS FANTASTIC!!!

I came from an office owned by Optum (United Healthcare), Dr. Ravi Bajpai, who I saw for for the previous 2.5 years, and raved about, but whose practice had gone downhill rapidly since the acquisition, IMO, and many others experiencing the same inconveniences in the waiting room. I was experiencing 45 minute waiting times in the Optum/United owned facility waiting room and another 30 minutes in the back office medical room, with a 4-5 minute talk with Dr. or the PA. 1.5-2 hour Dr. Visits are not okay. In addition, the staff was very discombobulated and incoherent. A complete trainwreck IMO.

At Village Medical the TOTAL appointment time in and out, including a 20 minute conversation with Doctor was a 30 minute pleasant experience. The front office was very coherent and as a new patient the process very seemless. I left feeling I had a 180 degree turnaround (positive) vs. the Optum/United owned facility.

I RECOMMEND VILLAGE MEDICAL TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CHANGE FROM THEIR OLD STATUS QUO!!!!

Dr. Getz is a very patient and caring doctor. She's the first primary care doctor who I feel takes the time to really give you personal attention and the best care possible. Highly recommended! The office staff is very efficient as well which is rare these days.

I do not think there are words to describe the amazing care, thoughtfulness, or attentiveness I received. I am a typical nervous nelly... Every employee was so amazing and comforting that it kind of went away. I also have to say that everyone was extremely thorough in my history,worries, and questions.

Came in for a blood draw they got me in 20 minutes early before my appointment time which was good since I was burning time from work to come in and do it. I think I had a trainee because she had somebody shadowing her and the first stick didn’t work, but I totally get that and being a new phlebotomist the more you do it the more comfortable you’ll get you get your technique in your routine down, but she was good. Her bedside manner was good

Called ahead multiple times to both my insurance and village medical to confirm I wouldn’t be billed for my preventative checkup and blood work. Both confirmed I wouldn’t be billed, and I left without a copay.
3 weeks later I get a bill because I “mentioned asthma” in my wellness visit, which “is not preventable”. I had asked for a prescription renewal since my last doctor refused to renew it.
For that, they charged me 25 bucks.
This place is a scam. They will do everything they can to get extra money out of you. I would recommend other places.

I also had issues with scheduling blood work, I went in for labs one day and they told me they couldn’t do my blood work because the labs were closed, even though that morning I spoke to VM call center and they told me to fast and that I could do my labs that day. So I fasted all day for nothing. The lab tech said this was a recurring problem.
This place is not worth your time. I will not be back

The staff was extremely professional and nice. I came in an hour and a half early and they were able to fit me in. My provider had a great bedside manner and was very professional and I will be seeing her again.

Otherwise, a village of idiots.
Charges post visit often, if not always, appear after the patient has paid for services rendered.

It's a clinic. Get a doctor or use Web M.D.

A final word, VM goes through Doctors like amazon goes through warehouse personnel.
