I had a great experience at AFC Family Care. The staff were attentive and friendly. I booked my appointment online and arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. I was in and out in 45 minutes or less.

I had to wait an hour and a half before being seen to take out a few stitches which took all of 5 minutes. The amount of paper work that was required, though online, was extensive. I even had to submit a list of all of my prescriptions. I asked the receptionist if I would have to go through all of that again if I happen to require their services, and she said yes. It was a bit too much for such a simple procedure.

I couldn't get signed in. No matter how many times I went to the window for help. The receptionist always met me with a smile. When I left, I felt as if the entire staff did everything in their power to help where needed and answered every question. It is so nice to come to a Health care Facility with such pleasant staff. Fairly new to the area and was greeted by a smiling face at the front desk. That may seem small to some people but as sick as I was feeling it was so nice. The front desk lady was very kind and caring. She got me back within 45 minutes and allowed me to sit in my car and wait until they were ready for me. The NP was very kind and listened to me. After her exam she gave me rx’s and told me to come back if I’m not better. Overall I had a very nice experience. Honestly I was hesitant coming because the last thing I wanted to do was to sit in a room full of sick people filling out pages of new patient paperwork and waiting hours to be seen while feeling crappy. I appreciate not having to go through that. Thank you

I went to their app and requested a place in line to be seen around 5:15 PM and arrived at 4:56PM. I wasn't called back until after 7:00 to be put in a room. The DR came in stating I'm the only provider here. I left around 40 mins later. Be prepared to wait and deal with rude office person.

Prior to driving to this family care facility, I researched the office hours online to determine what time this facility closes, and it specified that the closing time was 7:00. Mind you, I drove from Montgomery to Prattville to see the physician. I walked into the office, and the clerk asked if she could help me. Simply, I stated that I would like to see the doctor. She replied, we just saw the last patient at 6:30. Instantly, I looked at my phone and the time displayed 6:32. I shared that I had driven from Montgomery to Prattville. In a condescending manner, she stated that I passed 12 offices to get there. I replied that I tried three of them, and the waiting area was filled to capacity. The clerk said they had 15 people waiting in the back to see the doctor. I found that to be misleading because I was the ONLY person standing in the waiting area; there were only 4 cars in the parking lot! Unless the patients carpooled or walked in the office, I found the aforementioned information TOTALLY unbelievable. This was MY experience, and I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the customer service or the lack thereof 😟!

I scheduled an appointment for 8. Got there shortly before 8. When I walked up to the doors they were locked and it didn’t look like anyone was there. They finally unlocked the doors at 8:15. Waited another 15 minutes and heard the receptionist tell someone the doctor was not there yet. Decided to continue to wait. I finally got called back around 8:45. When the doctor came in he stood against the wall away from me. I know I was coughing but he is a doctor and he knows that comes with the territory. He made me feel like I was so contagious I was going to get everyone in the building sick. I will not be going back to AFC for any urgent care.

First of all, the sign in was easy not a long list of paperwork. The staff was very friendly and I didn’t have a long wait time. The service, cleanliness of the building, and again the staff was in taking care of my daughter
