Dr Robert McAllister is a very caring physician. He explains everything in great detail. He answered many of my questions before I even ask them. He has top notch bedside Manor. He never rushes you out! And I can't say enough good things about his staff as well! They make you feel like family. I am more than satisfied with the services they provide.

The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. Something I've always liked about Dr McAlister office is that old time country feel. Dr McAlister really wants to help get you out of pain! And he will try his best to get you pain free. I've been seeing him over 3 years. He is a compassionate doctor. I'm so glad I listened to my brother and gave him a try. Love love the friendly atmosphere too!

I have never ever had a Doctor as rude with not one ounce of ability to stop and listen to the answers to the questions he asks you. He is the most pompous arrogant person I have ever crossed paths with. His "facility" where he intended to lay me on the bed and inject was so unsterile. I have already had over 85% of my spine injected at another pain clinic in another state. Unfortunately I had an amazingly caring Doctor there. When I asked this doctor if I needed a driver or if he was going to give me anything he said,"With the amount of pain your in now this should be no big deal!: I also asked him to reduce the quantity of meds he was giving me. He looked at me in "disbelief." He then proceeded to write an Rx different from what I had been on but for the same qty. never saying a word to me of this change. Thank God my pharmacy caught this mistake as I am highly allergic to this med. So I go back for his B.S. OMT treatment. Which did absolutely nothing for my cervical area. Then he writes an Rx for a higher MG of the drug I was on. He tells me I have two choices here..."To do this his way or go to a surgeon and be crippled for the rest of my life." Not! I have other choices. And he is not included in those! Beware of this man. I spoke to several highly reputable people in the medical field here. And everyone said the same thing....."Stay away from that man!"

Dr. McAllister is a godsend. I had surgery on my back many years ago and still have pain, I did not want surgery again and have been in pain management where they just wanted to give pills and move onto the next patient. I know some people are happy with that, but I wanted to be fixed. Dr McAllister has taken my pain from a 7/10 to a 2/10. He does manipulation, a procedure called prolol therapy that works. He is actually working on the problem and making my life so much more enjoyable. I’m able to work and enjoying my life. I still take pain meds, but have cut them in half which is awesome. Believe me, life is so much better since I’ve met this man! Thank you Dr. McAllister!!

After my first visit with Dr. McAlister he ordered x-rays, I had the x-rays done and called back for an appointment. On the first visit Dr. McAlister gave me the choice of having therapy or cortisone injection. I am a trauma nurse, and just for scheduling purposes I told her I wanted cortisone injections. I know that they would have to schedule a longer appointment for injections. The receptionist made my appointment. The next morning I received a voice mail from his assistant... the voice mail was VERY RUDE. She told me that I needed to follow their procedure and have my x-ray done first, that he would not give me a shot because I did not have the x-rays done. She also stated that if I did not follow procedure in the future Dr. McAlister would not see me at all. I called her back and informed her that I had completed my x-rays a week ago and that I did not appreciate her rude message and would let Dr. McAlistser hear the voice mail on Thursday. Later that day I received another voice mail saying that she had spoke with Dr. McAllister and he would not see me at all. I have left messages for him to call me, he has not returned my call. Maybe he should hire a few educated people to assist him...

I started seeing him months ago...the staff n nurse are very friendly I did everything he asked me to do... I was just starting to feel better after seeing him for about 7 months. I liked the fact that he wasn’t pushing surgery like other doctors. Today I went to to office for a injection n Rx refill and as soon as I was signing in my phone rang and it was my neighbor. We only exchanged phone numbers Incase of an emergency.. So since I saw her calling I knew something was wrong she was telling me that police were at my home n my garage n front door was open. I told the nurse that I hv an emergency phone call I needed to leave n I’ll call back to reset the appointment she said ur do for a drug screening I said ok as I was talking to the police on the phone while she was saying ok. I called back about 2pm to see if I can come back ASAP. I was left on hold n then told that the dr was dis missing my care for declining the drug test. I said she could have said at least take the test before you leave... I clearly didn’t think to mention it but she should have. So now after an 1:30 min of trying to find a new pain dr I have to wait 6 weeks to get in as a new patient...with my pain levels starting back to 10. The communication between the nurse n myself an the communication to the dr could’ve been much better after all I the patient has to suffer.

Dr McAlister is a pain doctor. He is one of a few good doctors left that will listen. He has been helping people and their pain for a long time. He will treat you but he won't let you run the show.He's the doctor.
