If I could give zero stars, I would. What Dr. Suzanne Tormoen did to me was not just negligence—it was intentional harm disguised as care.

I came to this office as a new patient after relocating alone to Alabama, trusting this provider to oversee my mental health stability and autoimmune care. Instead, I was met with cold judgment, withheld medications, and reckless disregard for my safety.

I was honest about my long-term treatment for ADHD and bipolar II, which included a carefully managed Adderall prescription overseen by mental health professionals. Dr. Tormoen abruptly discontinued these critical medications—without any psychiatric consultation, taper plan, or referral—putting me at immediate medical risk.

She never discussed it with me during the appointment. I only discovered the missing prescriptions after being sent to the pharmacy with no explanation. When I asked why, I was stonewalled and dismissed.

And it gets worse.

She prescribed asthma medication in the wrong format, causing respiratory distress.

She ignored existing autoimmune diagnoses (Lupus) and questioned essential meds I’ve taken safely for years.

I was prescribed an iron supplement without labs or any signs of anemia.

Then, after I voiced concern about the COVID shot (which I have the right to decline), her demeanor completely shifted. Suddenly, I was treated as a “problem patient” and blocked from further help.

My HIPAA rights were violated when her staff contacted outside crisis services based on a misread email—without my consent.

This experience didn’t just leave me unsupported—it left me in a full-blown psychological and physical breakdown. I have filed a complaint with LegalShield and will be taking further legal action.

**If you value your mental health, your privacy, or your safety—**AVOID THIS PROVIDER.
No one deserves to be treated like this under the guise of “care.”

Dr Tormoen is a wonderful doctor. She really cares about her patients and gives them excellent treatment. The entire staff in her office are amazing! Rebecca, physicians ' assistant, gives each patient skilled and professional care. Anya, at front desk, treats patients with respect and helpfulness. Jessica also makes patients feel comfortable and in good hands! Great medical office!

I find Dr. Tormoen very sympathetic and very thorough. She probably spends more time with you than most any other doctor I've been to. She is a nutritionist and can advise on good nutrition as well. I have and will continue to recommend her to my friends.
