Recently, I assisted my grandmother in relocating to Fairhope, AL, and we were on the lookout for a suitable assisted living facility. After visiting several places, Arabella Health & Wellness of Fairhope stood out. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are attentive and genuinely care about the residents' well-being.

A special mention goes to Chloe in the financial department. She was incredibly patient and thorough in explaining the financial aspects, ensuring we understood every detail. Her professionalism and compassion made the transition smoother for our family. It’s evident that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the families she assists.

Our family had a truly wonderful experience with my relative's stay here. The staff consistently demonstrated a high level of care and knowledge, which was so reassuring. We also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the facility is. It's clear that everyone, starting with the leadership team and extending throughout every department, is genuinely invested in providing excellent care and support.

Staff was so friendly, a very clean building, the nursing care was the best! Leadership came by often to check to see how everything was going and made us feel seen/heard. Decor and furniture can use an upgrade but they handle my grandmothers care with care. Wonderful place!

Serving the long-term care industry over the last 10 years has been very rewarding. Having recently relocated myself and my family to serve the Arabella Health and Wellness of Fairhope community I can say first-hand the care the patients receive, the enjoyment they get from the amazing activities and top notch therapy department here is a breath of fresh air. The staff here truly care and pour so much time and energy in to loving these residents to the best of their ability. The Arabella organization has put effort in to changing the appearance of the facility and continues to put effort into the renovations. Hearing residents laugh and sing during the day truly brings a smile to my face and a constant reminder of why I chose to serve the aging population. Thankful to be a part of the Arabella family, and specifically serving the Fairhope community.

My mother-in-law was a patient there for 2 1/2 years. They did not care, especially when she passed away at the hospital. She died from sepsis, which means she had an infection going for quite a while that they did nothing about. We went to get her things after she died and no one even checked to see what room or what patient. We have never received a phone call or Card about her passing from them. They do not care.

If I could give this facility a negative star rating I would. From day one it was a nightmare for my father who recently underwent open heart surgery. He did not get the medications he needed for the first few days he was there because they weren’t available. The nurse had no I idea what medications he was on and just kept saying “he’s getting what’s ordered”. She fought us on everything, claimed my father was verbally abusing her when he was just trying to get the care he deserved.
Along with giving him an infection in his incision on his chest he also ended up with cellulitis and vasculitis in both feet for walking around in literal feces. His bathroom that he shared with 3 others overflowed one of the first days we were there and he had to walk around bringing it into his room. They kept calling maintenance but they did nothing and offered no room change.
The day we had him transferred out for being short of breath and one of his feet turning purple the nurse told me wound care wouldn’t be in for 2 more days to look at his foot, and “I don’t know anything about his foot in report they only tell me the important things that need to be followed up on”
The food could not be associated with anything edible and did not follow a diabetic or heart healthy diet whatsoever.
He just got discharged from another facility much better off but had to start over from a worst position after leaving here.
I wouldn’t advise anyone use this facility if they want to actually get better. Honestly this place needs to be shut down.
I have added pictures of the feces on the floor and his sock, bloody bandages left on the floor for days and his foot the day we had him transferred which looked worse once the bandage was removed.

Arabella of Fairhope is a great place to be. The CNA's and nurses all work hard and go above and beyond to make sure that all the residents are taken care of and have what they need during the day. Housekeeping does a tremendous job at making sure the facility stays clean and sanitized. The therapy department does a great job at getting people rehabilitated. The Administrator Chandler and Director of Nursing Rebecca does the absolute best job at running the facility. A special shoutout to our Activities Director Kenny for making sure we have alot of fun activities to do through out the week. I personally recommend this place to everyone who needs the short term or long term care.

A good friend of mine spent time at Arabella for rehab and had a great experience with the staff and the facility, rehab for older folks is never easy but was very happy with the out come, I would recommend this location.
