Was seen in an ER in Mobile and admitted. Everyone who filed a claim got paid. Baldwin County Physicians never bothered to file a claim or send a bill, yet I was turned I ER to a collection agency ! I can’t call to give them insurance info because phone is disconnected. Seriously considering filing a class action lawsuit after seeing so many complaints here regarding the same tactics from other patients !!

I went to the hospital for an emergency. After receiving care, I got a bill without them charging my insurance. It took months of phone calls and receiving threatening letters before they charged the insurance and sent me an updated bill. I paid the full amount. Now a year later I get a letter from collections stating I owe the full amount still (before insurance was applied and ignoring my payment). Clearly this hospital is not meant for taking care of people but instead a business looking only for profit and to cut corners. A true blight and burden on the community.

I went to the ER in Malbis and saw a Dr. Williams. I have two insurances(CIGNA and BCBS) I received a bill from Baldwin Emergency Physicians for the amount of $680.00 which is in collections. I contacted their billing department which is in Jacksonville Florida(none of whom speak English nor are they able to make outgoing calls) I called Cigna and they explained how the ER is contracted with insurance companies and said that the doctor and hospital was paid and they gave me the check number. This is a scam!
