I moved to Az last year and looking for a primary physician. I found Dr. Mutthu and he is such a great physician . I am very satisfied and pleased with my visit. he listened very carefully with patients concerns until I saw Dr. Hudak. I’m due with physical and made appt and been seen by NP Ana which I am pleased and satisfied with my visit . I am due with my papsmear . NP asked me if I want to be seen by GYN air they can do in their office . So I decided to make an appt with them in a later time . Few days after I called and wants yo change the time and date to early morning and per the person who answer the phone I know for sure it’s the manager coz I know and recognized his voice . I already spoke with her before and she said that their pap is only in the afternoon. So I said okay then cancel my appointment on Thursday and I am requesting a referral to GYN which I was offered by the NP. She put me on hold and then other person pick up the phone and he told
Me that there’s an opening the same day at 8am. I said I can’t do the same day and i am requesting a referral to GYN. he said that I need to be seen by the PCP in order for me to get that referral . I know the protocol or procedure for referral to a specialist doctor. I told him I was seen few days ago by NP so why should I need a appt ? First I worked in so many clinics . yes needed ti be seen by PCP to get a referral if there’s a new issue but this is Pap smear . Waste of time of both parties instead of getting the PCP time it better give it to patient that needed the most. But still he insisted to make an appt to get GYN referral, what for I’ve been seen already by NP , appt so they can get copay visit . They work in medical clinic they should know better than that. yes I agree some of the staff are rude, lack of good customer service and very rush at all times. I have noticed that the manager is always in the front . She should be staying somewhere out of the front so their employees can be loosen and relax. Her presence is giving employee an anxiety most specially if she is the wife of Dr. Mutthu. Hope that this issue with the admin staff can be change or resolve because that have a great physicians and NP now that I’ve seen . Thinking if I want to stay or not . I love Dr. Mutthu and NP Anna.

This is by far the best Doctor I have ever had. I see Dr Muthu or his son and they are so kind to me. The office staff are wonderful and the lady who does the blood draws is perfection. I love the two dogs that roam around the office, makes it very homey❤️ They never have trouble getting me in and I have never had a long wait. I would highly recommend Dr Muthu, he is the best

I appreciated getting paperwork in the mail to complete prior to my appointment so I had time to be thorough and thoughtful. I also got a reminder call the day before. The receptionist was pleasant and I didn’t wait long before being called to an exam room. I waited about 10 min before Dr Muthu entered. He acted like I was the only patient there today. Looked over the documents I had completed asked about medications and previous conditions etc. When discussing today’s reason for visit he was totally engaged. After interviewing and examining me, the medication he felt would be best I knew to be probably quite expensive. He took the time to look up my insurance and the cost with that coverage! (It is $$$$) He gave me options and ceded it was my decision. No pressure. It’s not a life or death thing.
All in all, this was one of, if not the most impressive, caring, knowledgable physicians I have even gone to and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

To keep it simple, unnecessarily rude to my dad. He never bothers anyone, and yet they managed to make him feel like he was a burden during his last visits. He just wanted someone to speak Spanish as they weren't listening to his concerns. It should be a place of healing, not a place where people should feel inferior. We'll find a good provider elsewhere. No biggie.

Dr. Muthu has been my primary care physician for well over a decade. He and his staff are the best in town. Reliable, resourceful, and always treats me with respect. I am very confused by the 1 star rating, and rude staff comment in a previous review. But to each their own, I suppose.

I wanna commend the gentleman who picked up my call today. He was informative and polite. They do ask for all your information up front. As a peer in the field, I'm assuming they make a patient chart on every single person who calls, than flags the one's they choose not to accept. Unfortunately the physician declined my case as they apparently don't take on mental health or chronic pain cases. So for anyone considering this physician for your primary care. I'd ask in advance if the doctor will accept your case and medication. I'm giving them 1 star simply because you cannot always vet a new patient over the phone fairly. I'm a damn good patient and my meds are an actual necessity after the hell I've been thru as a person from war to chemo.

Tried to book an appointment as new patient, they said they won't book because I cancelled an appointment one and half year back. I gave them enough notice, but they said I did not, I don't know how to prove it. Hope they understand at that time covid things were going on and patient as well as doctors were trying to live in new normal. Even if it was cancelled there should be other way like getting a deposit for new appointment or something, but front desk said that they won't book appointment. I heard good things about doctor but Front desk seems to be very strict in their written rules!

I saw the doctor on my first visit he was very nice . But I’ve been back several times and I’ve never seen him again . I choose this doctor hoping to see him more often than the physician assistant. Because when I see them I feel
Like they wait forever to come in and see me and when they do it a quick one , two ,three and we are finished. I don’t know I like the front desk the ladies that weigh and take my bloodwork and blood pressure but I don’t know about his associates
