Long story short, i was poked by a diabetic needle cap top in the sink while I was at work, and came here to be seen. Needless to say they didn't even check my finger out to see if it were okay. Just drew some blood. They didn't even suggest or mention that I should take a HIV prep pill or shot just incase I were exposed to HIV. Just drew some blood and told me to check back in 3 months.
So i literally had to care for my own finger.

This would be where you need to take your business. Of all the bad experiences being unheard, slow wait times, or not getting speedy resolution THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE.

In February I threw up from labor pains and I asphyxiated. After day, three being home, feeling sweaty and out of breath I looked up a nearby urgent care and went. The ladies out front were very prompt and friendly And when I explained my issues to the doctor, they got me a chest x-ray. He sent me straight to the emergency room, and I am testifying that that definitely saved my life. He saw my lungs were full, took me very seriously when I got to the emergency room My oxygen dropped rapidly, and I eventually was intubated and could not breathe on my own. After five days, I woke up and found out that they had called, communicated, and checked up on me.

Coming off of a ventilator with a newborn is very Traumatic and the healing process has been tough. Fast-forward a few months Of breath, and now that I’ve learned to take my sickness more seriously I went in just to make sure I was fine and they still remembered all of the details Which I find to be so personable and exactly how professionals should model themselves to be. I was given an inhaler and it was understood that I just needed a little help and they sent me on my way so I do really recommend going here if you actually need a place of business that really cares about who walks in the door.

My wait time was less than 10 minutes and I was a little early. Once I was in the room the DR was in immediately. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. I was in and out within 20 minutes with diagnosis and treatment plan . The DR was very thorough and made sure I was completely satisfied before I left. I highly recommend!!!

waste of time!! it’s like i never went to the doctor 🙁 went there sick and waited for a prescription to be called in to a pharmacy, which never happened. I called 3 times to see when it would be sent. Also, went back and forth with staff after my visit bc they said my info was incorrect in their system. However my info was correct at my visit. I’m pretty sure the positive reviews and high stars are fake reviews. My experience was similar to reviews that went into detail. The staff is friendly, but not helpful what so ever. I do not recommend.

This clinic in Hoover is the place to go if you don't feel well or suspect something is wrong. All staff are helpful and will do the appropriate testing right away to find out what's going on. Medication given on site and prescription. I started to feel much better within two hours. I recommend this clinic completely. I felt treated with respect and compassion. Thanks!

I have a few AFCs in my area but I choose to travel to this one. It's 26mins north of where I live and has never disappointed in the way of staff and care.

On yesterday's visit, I was seen Dr. by Dawn Adams. She was so kind. I, at this point of my illness, had lost my voice and she let me take my time to explain my issues. When leaving she dimmed the lights for me and asked if I wanted a blanket to stay warm! But what blew me away in addition to her kindness, was that she heard that I had 2 little ones, and that another antibiotic I had taken cased me some discomfort and she made sure the remedy for my symptoms was going to be fast and work! She was thoughtful and in my opinion, went above and beyond!

It’s now 24 hours after my visit and I’m like a new woman already!

10/10 and if I could give more, I would!

Today, I visited Dr. David Marotta regarding a meniscus tear in my knee. Upon arrival, I was informed there were no X-ray technicians available and was asked if I would like to proceed with an MRI and a brace. I agreed to both, yet neither was provided during my visit.

I also explained that I had already been taking naproxen prior to my appointment and that my pain had worsened despite using it. However, I was only given a steroid shot and prescribed more naproxen. After the visit, I called to clarify that naproxen had not been effective, only to be told that Dr. Marotta would not prescribe anything else and that he did not have to provide a reason.

As someone who works in healthcare, I left feeling dismissed and possibly stereotyped. I’m unsure if this was due to my age or another factor, but the experience was frustrating and left me feeling unheard as a patient.
