I went to Meskell's about a year ago. My sister had loaned my a scooter and I was looking for a ramp to load it in my PT Cruiser. The manager said any they sold would be expensive; that I should got to Harbor Freight to buy one, which I did. The trouble was that was too heavy and did not work.
About 10 months ago, I went in to buy a lighter weight scooter. They sold me a used one. It never worked. They gave me a new replacement battery, which was nice, but it still never worked. They said they would fix it despite there being no warranty. That was nice but they still have it and have not fixed it. They have one reason after another. Supposedly, they had trouble getting a part. So, they sold me a hard to repair scooter. Still no scooter.
I have now given up. The scooter cost over $500. I am on Social Security and a small pension. $500+ is nearly a month's pension for me.

Have bought a used scooter and a used power chair. Both work great. Power chair did not hold a charge so they came and picked it up and put brand new batteries. Delivered it the next day free of charge. Very nice people.

Elenore at Meskell's saved our vacation. We were supposed to rent a scooter from another place, but the other place "lost" our reservation. Elenore answered the phone at 10 minutes to close, and stayed a few minutes late, to rent us a scooter that was dropped off as we were on the phone. It was just what we needed, and in the nick of time.

Great family owned business, we can't recommend them highly enough.

Nice to find a local store that is knowledgeable in walkers. We didn't know that 4 wheel walkers was not a 1 size fit all. Some seats are lower for petite people and some are taller for tall people. They had every color of the raindow in stock. Nice people. Highly recommended.
