Don’t know what I would do without CMS, the place is absolutely essential and has become a solid pillar for me in my journey of recovery. The people who work at CMS are exactly the type you need on your side if you are taking your recovery seriously, They all really understand what’s up because they are all on the same road that I (A recovering addict) walk. They are just a little further ahead on the path which allows them the insight to know where we are all headed and to help direct those of us to, Hopefully ,Long lasting recovery. Every person who works there is in it for you and you can feel that every time you walk through the door.
Also, CMS has tons of resources available for this or that, it’s a mixed bag but it’s nice to know they offer more than that specific medical care.

Community Medical Services in Prescott Valley AZ literally saved my life! Struggling with opiate addiction OUD and methamphetamine on the streets in Phoenix az for 5 years I never thought I would ever get better I felt alone, stuck, hopeless and was ready to give up. I contacted different rehabs in the area desperate for help and time and time again I was rejected, or treated like shit by staff, never one time did I talk to one person that even remotely cared about my plea for help. I felt defeated, judged and afraid to even try anymore.
My partner read up about methadone and looked into a outpatient program instead and that's when she came across (CMS) Community Medical Services in Prescott Valley so she called to see if they took my insurance. I truly thought it was a lost cause, Brandy the lady that works the front desk answered and was extremely kind, she answered all our questions and showed us nothing but guidance and understanding. My hope was finally coming back and it felt so good to know that there was a way out of my dark, scary, and lonely life of an addict on the streets. It was a Friday and I had to wait until Monday to get into the clinic for an intake. I made it and got to the clinic as early as I could at 6 am I was soooo sick I sat in the waiting room and one of the counselor Mike came into the waiting room and he knew I was sick. He put his hand on my shoulder and told me how proud he was of me for coming in, that I am in good hands and they will be getting me dosed real soon so I can start feeling better. FINALLY I knew at that moment I was exactly where I needed to be. My counselor Anthony Luka came and got me in the waiting room he offered me a snack and a drink and got me my first dose of methadone before the intake process. He was so cool that even when we got to his office he let me lay down on the couch while he started the intake questions because I was so sick. After about 15 minutes the provider Sharla came in and introduced herself and was so patient with me and let me take all the time I needed to answer the questions and I started feeling better and the intake process was quick and easy.
I am now 6 months clean off of opiates (fentanyl), and methamphetamines!!

Recovery does not just happen overnight I am so glad to have this support team by my side every step of the way.
I have never felt SO CARED FOR, SO WELCOMED, SO LOVED, ENCOURAGED and NOT judged by the staff, by the counselors, by the health providers in my life like the ones at CMS in Prescott Valley!!!❤️

This clinic has saved me from Insanity! This is by far the best clinic I've been on in 40 years of Methodone. I was literally ready to just detox ? and then I went back to CMS Prescott Valley. I am already in such a better place. I feel like I can make life worth while again. Seriously if you need help, go to CMS. Cannot say enough about the councilor 's there. Have never met better and I've been on clinics in New York, Colorado, Florida and about 4 other states. These guy's rock.

If you are smarter than I then go before you are absolutely sick. If you know your going to be sick in a few days go now. They don't care if you have a bit left they don't care if you just picked up, they honestly just care. Every staff member is the same they actually just want you to not be sick. I know that sounds impossible and you are thinking they don't get it...they do. If I ran a clinic it would be done just the same. Chronic pain x 30 plus years rxd and street. Don't worry about your UA or what stage of WD your in just go even if you just need a little help to get you well. Thank you all.

CMS saved my life! And the Prescott Valley Staff are off the charts! I never felt so welcome and understood. Southwest Behavioral Health had me at a loss, and I dropped them the second I walked into the CMS PV clinic, cuz after meeting Mike and his amazing team, I knew I found a new family, not institution. Now I’m making the world spin my way!

The CMS is the best! They're entire staff unbelievably helpfull and so friendly and kind, from the counselors to the front desk staff. Because of them and theyr support, it made getting sober THAT much easier.
