I recently had the privilege of receiving care at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital.

During my stay, I was under the exceptional care of Dr. Sager, whose unparalleled expertise and compassionate approach significantly contributed to my journey toward a healthier tomorrow. Dr. Sager's dedication to patient well-being is evident in every interaction; he takes the time to listen, thoroughly explains treatment options, and ensures that each decision aligns with the patient's best interests. His commitment to excellence fosters trust and instills confidence in the healing process.

During my stay, I was also deeply impressed by the holistic support provided by the Port of the South team. Their sincere and empathetic demeanor consistently reminded me of the ultimate goal: to heal and return to living my best life. Their encouragement and positivity, regardless of the circumstances, played a vital role in my recovery.

In recognition of the outstanding care provided by Dr. Sager and the entire team, I encourage fellow patients to nominate deserving staff members for the DAISY or BEE Awards. The DAISY Award celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses, while the BEE (Being Exceptional Everyday) Award recognizes caregivers who go above and beyond to support nurses and patients. My mother entered your hospital for a 2 night event which started in the ER. All the doctors and nurses were so professional and super kind to my mom. Everything seemed to flow so well with all the employees working well together. I felt a sense of calm, cooperation, and kindness from everyone. A few nurses and nurse assistants who were especially great to my mom were Michael, Ronny, Keeley, Kimberly, Margaret, and Yoshika!!! Kimberly even offered me cough drops and ginger tea from her own personal bag for my ailing throat. What a kind person she is to offer me such a gift. My experience with L&D was way better than I expected it to be. My nurse Tasia was very kind and compassionate from the moment she stepped into the room. I even requested to have her the next morning which is when I ended up delivering and I’m glad that she was there to assist with the experience. As a first time mom I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse.

The anesthesiologist that came to give me my epidural, I think his name was Bryan. I hope that’s right. But he did very well explaining the whole thing and making me feel very comfortable with whole experience. The epidural was perfect to where I couldn’t feel pain but could feel what was going on and that’s exactly what I was hoping for. The check back ins were appreciated as well. You could tell he genuinely cared.

The postpartum nurse that stuck out the most to me was Maria, she was so sweet and nurturing throughout the night. She was so good about bringing me ice water to hydrate and explain everything she was going to do especially with our son. You could tell that she really enjoys what she does and that makes all the difference.

The staff at the hospital were great, they took care of my mom and her issue. The only thing kind of negative I guess was not once did I ever get to see any of the doctors that were on duty, and I don't believe that they would only come around once a day. Other than that everything was great, always clean, the staff and nurses were awesome. Thank you again for everything that was done. P.S. I do understand that the doctors are busy but it would have been nice to actually speak to one of them.

From start to finish the care given was, simply put outstanding. From the time of check in to the OR and care given after was of the best I have ever had. I, in all honesty, have not one bad thing to say about the care and treatment I received. Everyone involved were of the highest caliber, extremely caring and truly made me feel like family.....GREAT JOB!!!

I was admitted to HCA Orange Park last week through the ER.

Every employee and every nurse and doctor that I encountered couldn’t have been nicer or easier to deal with.

From the ER to the floor I was admitted on everyone was great to me.

My room was very nice and they were very good at keeping it clean.

The nurses (Anna and Dana) and hospital staff were all very cordial and professional. The medical staff seemed to be very well trained and explained everything I needed to know. Dr. Toon , Dr. Corbin with lead nurse Suzanne and the rest of the labor and delivery team at Orange Park medical were absolutely professional and phenomenal. They definitely cared about my family and about my concerns and I truly recommend new moms to come here because they’re very knowledgeable and they do not hide any information about your health and well-being and they most importantly listen to your Concerns. I can’t truly thank them enough! And the anesthesiologist were very kind and very helpful as well! Highly recommend!
