Impossible to Get Appointments with Preferred Doctor

I have been a patient at this office for over 10 years and have always appreciated the care I’ve received. However, scheduling appointments has become increasingly difficult. It used to be a smooth process, but lately, it has been nearly impossible to secure an appointment with my long-time doctor (Paul and his assistant Shana). Instead, I am often redirected to other providers within the practice, despite my preference for continuity of care. I understand the challenges of a busy practice, but I hope they can find a way to improve scheduling so that long-term patients can continue seeing their preferred physicians.

My family and I have been going to this practice since my children were in diapers and now they are around 30 years old. We have seen Paul 99% of the time. Paul is like family to us. I have spent 2 hours trying to get in to see someone today. I spent almost an hour on hold. It is a great feeling when you are not feeling well trying to find/see a doctor and spend 2 hours trying to talk to a person, period. I would find another place to go, but we love Paul.

I've been a patient here since 2019 but after today, I will never go back. I showed up today for a 12:45 appointment that I made about 2.5-3 weeks ago only to be told I was marked down as a "no call, no show" because my appt. was actually at 11:45.

I'm not sure how this happened because when I made the appointment I repeated the time back to her and put it directly in my calendar for 12:45 and the girl even said "you'll be the first patient after lunch".

Instead of offering an explanation, apology or a new time slot the front office girls wanted to argue about where my proof was about the appointment time. Unbelievable that I'm being made to prove myself but they're not willing to take responsibility that maybe, just maybe, the girl who made my appointment could have entered the wrong time but told me the right time or vice versa. The only proof I had was a received phone call where I confirmed by pressing 1 (or 2, not sure) and what the portal said. They literally asked me to show them an email or a text proving myself but what they were really doing was calling me a liar!! I tried going back to the portal to show proof but somehow my appointment had been deleted. Go figure.

Ever since the new administration took over, they care more about "protocol" than customer service or patient care. When I asked for the manager, imagine my surprise that the woman I had been speaking to and who was basically calling me a liar, was the manager. Her name is Andrea. The owner (according to her) is Eugenio.

Based on the negative reviews over that last few months (since the new administration took over) this office is going to hell in handbasket.

Was a great office in the past. I have been going to this doctors office for at least six years. Since doctor cohen and doctor Stapleton left, customer service has been terrible. I’m trying to get a prescription filled and they are not helpful. I never get a call back and when I call In directly I get hung up on 2 out of 3 tries. I would not currently recommend this office to anyone else.

Dr Paul and Shana, his assistant are top notch. I was diagnosed with a rare condition in February and see him as my primary. He is extremely caring, and went the extra mile ordering tests, MRIs and scans for my condition. He also caught that I had a spinal tap leak from a poor spinal tap days before. I am grateful to this practice and care they give. The office staff is friendly, and on point with orders, referrals and medications.

I’ve been a patient there for several years. They can be difficult to communicate with. I called on a Monday to get a prescription refilled. The Dr’s assistants don’t answer the phone, you have to leave a message, I left messages Monday and Tuesday and by Friday had not received a return call. So now I’m traveling and running out of the medication. I finally get a call back on Friday and they make excuses “oh the physician’s assistant was busy” too busy to return my call or figure out how to get a prescription refilled apparently. Poor patient service.
