The care and education I received from the staff at AK Aquatic Rehab Therapy was beyond my expectations. Not only did I receive support through healing after a shoulder procedure, but the tools I was given promote full body health and understanding as well. The staff is very patient and intuitive. Brittany ,Katelyn and Kari learned how I best understood their instruction so that I would get the best support possible. Upon completion of 3 months of Physical Therapy, I am now equipped with the knowledge necessary to have a healthy pain free body as I continue to age.
Thank you All for creating a safe healing place for all of us.

I saw Katelyn for a couple months for both pool and land therapy for my knee. Katelyn was great at directing me and giving me exercises to strengthen my knee. She was very competent in her field of PT and fun to work with. I highly recommend Alaska Aquatic Therapy. Brittany has done an amazing job with this family friendly business. Great people all around.

Brittany at Alaska Aquatic Therapy was an incredible help in my rehab from a blown disc and sciatic pain. She was knowledgeable and efficient in helping me improve and in teaching me exercises and stretches to regain my active lifestyle. Best of all, her upbeat and honest personality made me turn from a skeptical patient into a believer. Now I am pain free and back to living life. Thank you Alaska Aquatic!

Loved the experience with Brit and her team of therapist, their enthusiastic attitudes combined with professional and knowledge made for a fantastic experience. My teenage daughter had to have double knee surgery and was non weight bearing for 3 months and an additional 4 months of PT after she could bear weight. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to be able to be active and do PT in the pools while she was confined to a wheelchair as it gave her something to look forward to. She enjoyed the ladies that helped along the way so much and was very happy with her experience. As a father I also enjoyed interacting with the team, and how they cared for my daughter and listened to our concerns with her recovery.

The staff at AAT is absolutely incredible! Knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. They look for the cause of the pain, not just the symptoms. The clinic is amazing and the pool therapy is so beneficial.

My son has developmental delays and he receives Occupational & Physical Therapy from the amazing therapist with AK Aquatic Therapy! I love how they think outside the box and instead of “fighting” with my son to get the results, they find creative ways to play with him that has made him flourish! I also love how they include me in his therapy and teach me what to work on and different ideas to use at home. I’m so thankful to have them on our team!

On another note, I myself suffer from hip problems and have been doing physical therapy with them as well and I have made so much larger strides working in the water, than I had in the past with lady based therapy. It’s amazing how much more my body can do in the water to rehabilitate my hip, than it can endure in land based exercises. I have a lot less pain than I use to and am able to chase after my son without a cane! I honestly can’t say enough good things about the amazing group of therapists and the owner! They’ve helped my family tremendously!

I have had major sciatica pain (herniated disc) for months and was referred to aquatic therapy with Alaska Aquatic and Rehab Therapy - I walked into my first pool appointment barely able to lift my foot due to pain. I had to be driven there while laying across the backseat. I woke up the next day to my pain being reduced by 50%. After my next appointment, it was down by 75%. While I still have pain, take medicine, and am trying to get this herniation to heal, the methods they use have reduced the pain I feel by 85-90%. They are taking it so slow and really listening to my body and doing what it needs, not what a program would prescribe. I have specifically worked with Twila and Kate and theyre amazing. The owner, Britt, recognizes ALL the patients and knows what theyre dealing with. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I am a runner at Soldotna High School and was suffering from an ankle and hip injury. I came to PT not knowing if it would help, but after about a month of going to PT and doing my exercises at home it made a huge difference. The people here were so knowledgeable, nice, and welcoming. My experience was amazing!
