Dr. Godson Oguchi, a board certified physician is without a doubt the preeminent specialist in infectious disease treatment in West Volusia with admitting privileges at both Fish and Florida Hospital DeLand.
The staff at this office is almost always friendly, patient, and efficient as circumstances permit. Anyone who seeks treatment at this office is likely to walk away knowing that the treatment for their condition will be well managed by Dr. Oguchi and his competent staff.

Midland Florida Infectious Disease- Dr Oguchi office in Orange City FL

My grandmother has had two appointments with them now. The first one was a FU to IV treatment. The appointment was scheduled for 2:30. We were put into a room quick enough, but then continued to wait for an hour an a half, because Dr Oguchi wasn't even there. None of the staff members checked on us or bothered to explain the long wait. So we rescheduled. Today we went again to try to FU with this IV treatment. Waited ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF....Dr Oguchi got there late apparently. Again, no one bothered to check on us or explain the long wait. So we go to leave. I'm standing at the reception desk and the lady that checked us in said "He's coming." and I said "Well, we're leaving. We've been here an hour and a half already". Dr Oguchi comes around the corner and says "Bye".

No apology for wasting our time. No explanation. Nothing. Just "Bye". Very unprofessional. In most Dr office's, If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for their appointment they have to reschedule and sometimes even pay for their late/missed appointment. But we're expected to sit for an hour and half for the doctor who's not even in the building?!

I don't think so. Not going there again. Staff is unorganized and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, and Dr Oguchi apparently doesn't care whose time he wastes.
