Tortoise Clinic is amazing! The office has such a nice calm feel to it and all of the staff are very nice, welcoming and professional. I have been working with Dr. Lisa doing the Nero Acupuncture and I have seen amazing results even from my first session. I have been dealing with Chronic Fatigue and a host of other things and finally I am starting to see some healing! Dr. Lisa is so knowledgeable and she creates a safe space for healing. I highly, highly, highly recommend the Tortoise Clinic. 😀

Dr.Lisa is excellent. Have had nerve pain secondary to tendinitis for 3.5 years. Tendinitis was treated successfully by physical therapy, but the nerve pain continued. Tried it all. Found out about Neuro Acupuncture from a patient and called to see if she might possibly help. She was honest and forthcoming in her explanation of treatment and so far it has reduced the nerve pain gradually but consistently. Thank you Dr Lisa.

Dr. Lisa has an amazing gift when her knowledge and expertise in acupuncture, specializing in neroacupuncture. Dr. Karen was wonderful! She took the time to advise me on an exploratory call for a case she felt would be better handled by those with pediatric expertise. I’ve been dealing with gastro issues for over 15 years. I’ve had procedures done, visited multiple doctors with several different diagnoses and treatment plans, with no success. My wife has been begging me, for years, to try alternative / functional medicine. I had nothing to lose and, quite frankly, I’m tired of living life with discomfort and uncertainty…..I want to improve my quality of life.

After one trip to The Tortoise Clinic and one session with Dr Karen, I learned more about my issues, than I had in the previous 15 years. She took the time to walk me through every procedure and every test I had taken and explained things to me that I should have known years ago.

It’s only one appointment but it was extremely informative and helpful. My wife left in tears ( I may or may not have shed a tear, but I digress😊). Dr Karen clearly cares about her patients and wants me to be healthy as much as I do. I’m extremely optimistic that her plan for me will change my life for the better.

I’ve been going to The Tortoise Clinic and seeing Dr. Lisa for 6 months. I have ALS and see a lot of Doctors. She’s the only one I prefer to see. Her acupuncture treatment is the highlight of my week and it just makes me feel rejuvenated. It can turn me around with the way it helps my breathing and balance. I have now had several sessions of deep tissue massage at the clinic and am thrilled with the results. I had surgery 2 months ago and it is helping with the recovery process. I am a snowbird and will be returning north in another month but will come back to the clinic next year and would be a regular if I lived in the area.
