Great service. I have been going there for years. I highly recommend if you need a CPAP. Customer service is on point. And the sleep study is easy peasy. Also the staff are very informative about any questions that you might have. The only issue I have with my sleep medicine specialist is the appointments... It can take weeks to get one. The building, especially the first floor is a sketchy hot mess. Literally there is no air conditioning and the doors and vending machines make you feel like you are in a Greyhound bus station. However once you are in the office, everything is great. Highly recommend 4 stars.

Dr Mezerhane is an excellent doctor , listen to the patient, know how to look for the necessary informations, is honest (he asked the secretary to give my money back as the price given by the secretary was incorrect), gave me all the options regarding studies, treatments and so on, exposed his points of view of my case, expend much more time than usual in my appointment, I am totally satisfied. The nurse who attended me before was friendly and asked me all the important informations necessary to better understand my case. There was almost an hour of delay to get in, which for me is not a problem at all, as I totally understand how medical appointments can last more or less time, as just happened with me, so, when I go to a medical office, I expect to have an excellent consultation rather then in time 15 min/rushing consultation.
The only point is regarding the misinformation by the secretary, as I asked if wouldn't be necessary to send my medical records in advance or any other information and by phone the lady said no, but during my way I received a message saying that I would have to fill a giant form ( excellent by the way) , which took me more than half an hour to fill when I arrived at the office ( Luckily I had already planned to arrive 30 minutes early), and also there was an email where I could sent the medical records (which I just found out when I was already at the clinic, and took a while to do so and it was a bit confusing to do it at the last minute). It would be better to have all the informations in advance to do everything in a more organized and not rushing way. This would be my suggestions to improve!

I came to the office explaining my sleep issues and asked if performing a sleep monitoring test makes sense. The doctor assured me that it does. We spoke about sleep apnea and I mentioned that this is not my concern and I dont have sleep apnea. The doctor acknowledged it and still suggested to perform the test advising it will be valuable to see how I sleep. Next week I came in to see the results. It mentioned that I don’t have a sleep apnea, but nothing about my sleep architecture. Time and money wasted.

The Sleep Specialist started several years ago, they have. They have an office in Kendal and one by the airport. When I first came for the consultation the Physician was involved in the assessment, testing and education process. I was taken cared of professionally and met my medical needs.
The sleep study was done by a very helpful, professional and courteous young lady. Back then, picking up the CPAP, wasn’t an additional visit charge.
During COVID, the office refused to see patients in person and it had a major backlog to get an appointment. As a CPAP user, they denied me supplies since I couldn’t renew the prescription.
When I was finally seen via Telehealth visit, by a ARNP it was just to renew my prescription. I asked for an additional smaller machine for travel and was told I needed an additional visit for that. During the visit, I was never asked or told I was going to be billed.
When I came for my next visit, they informed me that I was put in collections over the Telehealth visit. At no time was I called to discuss the bill. The office calls and texts to organize the appointments, but didn’t call once to follow up after the ARNP to charge. I understand that office need to make money, but these needles extra visits and long waits are not good business practice.
When I arrived on time for my 10:30a appointment, I waited over 1 hour to see the ARNP. If you want to see the MD now, he only sees patients on Tuesdays, but they don’t really let you schedule with him. It seems like the MD is asleep at his business. He was great at engaging with his, (if you can ever see him) but that staff is lacking.
This review is to give you insight into how the offices are run and what to expect. Two other patients in the waiting room almost complained of waiting over 1 hour to seem the provider.
During my visit and long wait, my medical intervention was performed by the Medical Assistant and not the PA/ARNP. My arrival time was 10:30a and I saw the ARNP at 11:40am.
