Our Home Pharmacy staff told me numerous times over the past few months I was on a waiting list for my Type 2 Diabetes medication refill, which was on backorder. I had had this medication filled at this pharmacy numerous times with no issues. I called to follow up with them every two weeks, only to be assured I was still on a waiting list and would be notified when my medication was in stock and my prescription was filled. Yesterday, however, Craig informed me my medication was in stock and my prescription was still valid but that he would not fill it for me, because I do not have any other prescriptions filled at this pharmacy. Though the medication was in stock, and I have a valid prescription and insurance coverage, this pharmacy's policy is not to fill prescriptions for high-demand medications, if they determine someone doesn't spend enough money with them. Craig presumed, though correctly, that I have other prescriptions filled elsewhere. My other prescriptions are all filled at my physician's office and not at a competing pharmacy. I was simply denied and discriminated against because I do not line their pockets deeply enough. I was essentially told I am not deserving of my medication nor worthy of having my prescription filled at Our Home Pharmacy. If Our Home Pharmacy never intended to fill my prescription, they should have been candid with me from the beginning, rather than stringing me along for months and delaying my treatment. I have reported this event to the Alabama Board of Pharmacy, as I find this decision and treatment to be so very unethical and running counter to the Code of Professional Conduct and the Oath of a Pharmacist. Unknown to Our Home Pharmacy, I was a pharmacy technician for ten years. I have the utmost respect for the profession and have worked with dozens of pharmacists. I have only ever witnessed a pharmacist decline to fill a prescription when they suspected abuse or fraud. Such was not the case here. I am utterly appalled. My husband and I immediately transferred our prescriptions elsewhere, to a pharmacy which is delighted to have our meager business. For shame, Our Home Pharmacy! Do better!

It was my first time there and I thought the place was beautiful. My granddaughter said "this place is awesome". Everyone was so nice and my script was done in a matter of minutes. I've been telling everyone about your store. I will definitely be back.

Everyone at Our Home Pharmacy is top notch! They became my preferred pharmacy many years ago. They have, not surprisingly, grown over the years and offer many additional products, services, etc. However, they STILL consistently provide the highest level of customer service. The leadership and staff are all knowledgable, friendly & professional. Yes, the pharmacist,Craig, is wonderful! However, so are all of his staff! Did I mention how quickly they service your request? Definitely deserve more than 5 stars! Thank you Our Home Pharmacy!

Hands down the nicest, most professional people I have ever dealt with. I dealt with three different employees and every single one was kind, genuine and all about making the customer happy. If there was a book on how to treat customers, it would be written by Our Home Pharmacy!!!!!

Our Home Pharmacy is home. Once you go there you're treated like family. The head of the family is Mr. Craig. He is knowledgeable and caring. EVERYONE who works there is nice. I love Donna and the rest of the staff.
The store is beautiful. You can bring your blood pressure down just by browsing the beautiful jewelry, clothes and other gift items. Everything has been curated so well, it's like being in a beautiful store "back in the day."
To top it all off they have ice cream and coffee. I 'll take Our Home Pharmacy over any other because it is for me and many others, home.
