I have been volunteering at Here's Help for 25 plus years. I have a son who made wrong choices in life. I wish I knew about this program 27 years ago! It is by far the best treatment facility and because of my son I know and see the difference from other rehabs compared to Here's Help.

I went here in the 80's. I'm surprised it's still in business. Place is a dump. If you want help, this isn't the place to get it. When I got there they took all my money. They said it went into an account. I asked for a receipt; they said they don't give receipts. After a week there they got me a job. Each week I had to sign my paycheck over to them. That also went into my account. When I left, I left without any money. There was no account. Rip-off. I don't even know if the people who took my checks even gave them in or kept them. I even work a few days for a contractor who paid them directly for my labor.

The maintenance people who worked there used to have patients do their work for them. Once one of them was moving, so he took several patients off the property to help him move.

It was like being a slave.

As for the treatment, there was none. End of the day group, which was a waist of time, and a NA meeting once a week. The people who worked there talked to people like dogs. Great place to go if you like being degraded on a daily basis. Talk back to them and they through you out in the middle of the night. Since I came from out of state, I had no place to go. Every time I tried to get my father to fly me home, he said they called him and told him I was lying about the place and just wanted to get high.

There is no help at this place. Here's Help is pure garbage, and so are the people who worked there.

This places is the worse staff and therapist are unprofessional, they have a a lot of favoritism they don’t treat everyone the same the therapist are arrogant and unprofessional they make you tell them personal stuff and then gossip about it to each other and if you refuse to talk to them they threaten to kick you out or keep you in there for longer time only one phone call a well and you can only call one person if they don’t like you they will try to send you to jail

My son-in-law was admitted to this facility, and so far it’s been unprofessional with little regard to personal wellbeing. 1 phone call per week, 5 minutes on the phone. says it’s good that he has a support system, can’t contact that support system. if you’re lucky you’ll get told that zoom calls are available, then they’ll say you need to have facetime, and if you don’t have an iphone well now you have to download whatsapp and join whatever sketchy video call they set up through a facility members personal phone. you are able to write letters back and forth to each other, but it’s pretty hard when they’re being given tasks 7am-10pm and being given little time for themselves. i guess the only thing going for them is the food.

Horrible place. The guy that runs the place Antuan sellers, knows nothing about recovery and is very arrogant. You will be made to feel even worse about your life when he lectures and belittles you everyday for hours. They shave your head and don't help with anything, unless Anke likes you and shows favoritism towards you . But the majority of clients gets no help and no rest. From 7am to 10pm you will be out of the dorms, locked, and working or watching movies. Smoke breaks are limited and could be cancelled for days at a time. Go somewhere else , your life is important and precious.
