Twenty five years ago Dr costarangos saved my life-twice. Palmetto hospital and the chicken pox entered and covered my lungs. Verge of dying and making funeral plans God and the Doctor said ‘not this year’…
Then I developed a blood clot. Once again Dr Costrangos! Thank you doctor for my life! I love you! God bless.

If I could enter zero stars I would. Dr. Costarangos is a wonderful physician. Excellent in his area of professionalism. Unfortunately his staff hurts his profession. When I started with him many years ago they would call to confirm medical appointments. In the past three years you can’t anyone in the office to answer the telephone, the voicemail messages are not returned and lately they fail to confirm medical appointments prior to the appointment date. So if you want to reschedule and they do not answer the telephone, they don’t respond to voicemail and do not call to confirm appointments you are left in lingo. This is very disheartening because he’s an excellent physician. The staff is hurting his medical profession.

Dr. Costarangos is very approachable and follows through on his work. He treats you like a human being and listens to your questions. He sent a specific test for me and when I saw him in his office to speak about the results, he had concerns about the reading so right then and there he called the reading doctor and spoke about my results. Still not convinced, he called a surgeon and schedule a visit for me.
Dr. Costarangos is an example of how doctors should treat patients.

My mother went to see Dr Costarangos for the first time. The Dr took his time explaining everything to her. Excellent doctor will definitely keep seen him again. The staff was also excellent took their time gathering all the records that I had trouble emailing. First time my mother has commented so much on how good the doctor an staff are. Thank you

He takes his time to listen and he is a great human being. I visited Dr. Costarangos today and he has a new staff very profesional and helpful.

This pulmonary physician treats both my elderly parents. He is comprehensive and thorough, do much so that he saved my mother's life. He suggested she follow up with her cardiologist regarding pulmonary artery pressures, for which a catheterization warranted. The cardiologist discovered she had an 80% blockage and placed a stent . I am very grateful for him and his amazing staff, whom fight for patient advocacy. Thankfully they were persistent in repeatedly submitting requested documentation to their insurance when we appealed to get my mom a portable oxygen tank. I'm grateful and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
