I don’t like giving negative reviews especially for a small business, but a friend of mine and I stopped in the store. We received a cold greeting and then followed around the store the entire time we were there. There was no help offered and it was awkward being watched the way we were. We both agreed walking out of the store that there was a very negative vibe/energy in the place.

I had the same experience as Hannah, except I purchased some highly overpriced items.
My total was $99.
When I went to “open” the Oracle deck I purchased it was already opened. They put a $35 price tag over the $32 MSRP.
The supplements that I paid $14 for cost $9 on Amazon and the damn pills expired last month.
The bell I purchased was once priced at $53. They had another “new” old sticker for $35.

I didn’t like being followed. It was assumed that I’m a complete know-nothing.

Honestly I was so excited to go in to a local store and I can understand the no photography thing. Absolutely. But I just had my phone in my hand and got told about the policy. I read it as I came in. Then just admiring their cat got told to leave her alone. Honestly I’m really sad I left without a purchase because the energy is just negative and I don’t want that negative energy on the things I purchase. I’ll take my business to Birmingham.

The shop looks nice, but the Employees are rude minus the girl working the jewlery counter. I felt rushed and was told to put my phone away even though it wasn't on. I had to go outside to do a simple google search because the employee couldn't answer my question about the stone i was looking at. The shop has a weird vibe and I would recommend going literally anywhere else
A lot of their stuff is way over priced. For a metaphysical shop this place is terrible in comparison to others I've been too.

I’ve visited this shop at least five times over the course of two years, and while the crystal selection is pretty wide, it’s also unchanging (never noticed any new merchandise), and some stones are mislabeled (only one or two that I saw, not the majority by any means).

The last time I came into the store, I pulled out my phone to reference something - I was searching for a crystal to match a specific color I had in mind. An employee immediately told me, “sorry, we have a no phone policy.” The employee herself seemed embarrassed to have to say it and looked like she was directed to do so by the older employee/ manager/ owner also in the store.

There’s a sign on the front door that says no photos or videos are allowed, and that’s totally understandable, and there’s another goofy looking sign in the door that says “no phone zone,” but to seriously tell your customers to put away their phones in the store? Weird and inappropriate.

I put up my items and left, and I won’t be back. It’s a shame this is the only metaphysical shop in Auburn, but then again, if you’ve been once, there’s really no need to return.

I shopped at Cosmic ConneXion this afternoon and given the negative reviews, I feel compelled to write about my experience, which was very positive. My needs may not have aligned with the more negative reviewers, as I know nothing about crystals; however, I needed to buy some as gifts for my nieces, who collect them. I walked in and was kindly greeted by two staff members. I explained what I was looking for and asked for their help. The older of the two staff people spent at least 30 minutes with me, showing me various crystals and explaining their meanings. She was both knowledgeable and patient, and made some very helpful suggestions given what I shared about my nieces. I ultimately bought two towers and two bracelets. I cannot speak to how the price compares with other stores, as I have never bought crystals before, but I was pleased to learn that everything I bought today was on sale, so I do believe overall the price was reasonable.

Excited to find a crystal shop so close, nothing in Montgomery…but was very disappointed. Read the room, or better yet your customer reviews! We felt like we were being stalked the entire time we were in the store. Weird vibe and energy for sure. Crystals are very over priced. Everything was very clearly labeled which was really awesome, but since the browsing experience was so uncomfortable, we just made our way through the store quickly and left.
