THIS PLACE IS NEVER OPEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE. Either they need to update their hours on their card and website to reflect when they will actually be open. I like MCH and I want to be able to go to the clinic when I need to - but they are closed more than they are open

This place was amazing experience! I had really bad cold like symptoms, and needed a very fast care, so I went to MCH walk in. There was a family medicine doctor named Milo, and he was very friendly and assessed my symptoms right away. I told him I took two Covid-19 test and came back negative. He gave me two tests one for flu and other for strep. The wait wasn’t very long to figure out I had tested positive for strep. Right away they prescribed me antibiotics, and I was feeling better next day.

I was very pleased with my visit. I went in about 5:10pm on Sunday evening. I was the only one there. It was my first visit so after filling out some paperwork I was immediately seen. The nurse practitioner was very nice and was able to get me the prescriptions I needed. I will definitely be using them again.

Said they would see you if you where there by 6 so everyone can be out by 630. Even though the hours posted on the internet and at location say they close at 7. Asked again what time do they close she stated "we're fixing to now." I question at 615 yes replied "yes". Undate your hours or education your staff. I am sure this clinic is here for convenience how convenient are you when your closing an hour to 45 minutes before the time posted

So after calling earlier in the day to ensure I could be seen I was told by the receptionist that as long as I called and got there by 620that I would be okay and I called as soon as I was in the parking lot at 610 and was told this second time they weren't taking anymore people. UTPB students only get break at one or two places and this places claims to close at 7pm but really closes at pm. The doctor did not want to give his name or anything and the reseptionist never asked him. When I asked for the number or email to call for a complaint she did not know any and did not want to ask the doctor either. Very unfortunate they even denied this family right behind me and the mom even questioned that do they not close at 7? And the receptionist said they close at 7 but do not take anymore people after 6

My experience this morning was absolutely horrible. First thing, the receptionist acted like I ruined her day by needing to be registered. Second, the nurse practitioner acted like I was faking because I wasn't congested and didn't have a runny nose. She asked me real indignantly "Then why are you here?!" Well dang lady, if you'd listen to me I'm trying to tell you why I'm here! I really felt at that point that I should just leave. I was in severe pain, my face was swollen to the point that I couldn't touch my teeth together without pain, and yet I didn't have a runny nose. Geez.
I was referred to that particular clinic because other clinics cost $200 and the clinic at WalMart is only $75. Next time I believe I will pay the $200 elsewhere.
Oh and as it turned out, I tested positive for Strep, so yeah, I was legitimately sick.

It took a very long time to finally get seen, the “dr” complained to me she was the only one into day understand. I went in with a very raw throat (almost in tears) I tell her my lymph node is swollen, she stuck a swab down my throat an said it’s “probably” strep, she comes back saying she tested the swab an it wasn’t. She proceeds to say she can’t tell me what’s wrong Bc she doesn’t have everything she needs to test out my symptoms. All she does is prescribes antibiotics, I say okay an for the pain? She said oh take a Tylenol you will be fine. Long story short I waisted my MONEY,TIME an not to mention walking out with not knowing what’s wrong with me!! I later got rushed to the hospital Bc my throat was closing! So if u ask me DO NOT GO!!!

A shout out to MCH Procare Clinic most especially the one at East Walmart. I came in with a spider bit that was swollen really bad. I was one told to go to emergency or urgent care, but I was stubborn so I stayed. The doctor on duty that day was doing an exceptional job (Nancy Bueno, FNP). Yes, it is a small clinic, but trust me, she did an excellent job just like a real surgeon and I highly recommend this place-the best care I ever had. Thank you very much for taking good care of me. I appreciate you.
