Retired USAF here. Pharmacy techs and volunteers are always very professional and courteous. Average wait time to get RXs via refill call-in line says 3 duty days to fill scripts, but the airmen here are always exceeding expectations and getting it done quickly. Nice to not have to use the entire lunch hour to get meds. Well done!

Recently move here to Hurlburt, I’m calling to make an appointment and the phone rings and rings, it counts some numbers backwards I guess is the queue for the operator and then when is my turn the operator keeps saying one and send my call to the wait again and then shuts off. What’s wrong with these people? I’m thinking all these bad reviews here are for good reasons.

Patient Advocate is nasty and took all my personal experience (about people actually dying from AF Medical neglect) and opions personally. She was emotional and yelled at me on the phone... The person who is supposed to be advocating for me went off and insulted me and tried to throw around the stripes she used to have... I literally don't care what your rank used to be if you can't do your job, bruh. If someone wants to contact me, I'm pretty sure the recording could be enough to have her fired, especially if this isn't the first time she's done that.

If you actually want to be seen just go to Eglin’s ER.

It’s always a run around with them. They take 3-4 months to get an appointment and when you finally get in they won’t see you for more than 1 item so then you have to schedule another appointment. Also time you go in there for they want you to go somewhere else or do at home monitoring and schedule a follow up appointment with another 3 month wait.

The scheduling line says they will see you for multiple items at a time but it’s all a lie and these people don’t care about you.

The experience I had with this clinic was downright negligent. First off, it’s absolutely pitiful there’s no Sick call. Seriously?

I had to wait two days for a call back from a primary medical provider after I came in sick for Covid. Kept calling back three times a day wondering where my call for two days straight and I was kept being pushed off... “ oh don’t worry a Doctor will call you by the end of the day” is what I heard for 2 days straight.

For flight medicine alone, Took 30 minutes to an hour each time I tried to call, and I was number 1 in line.

This is a moderate sized clinic with excellent quality service and a superb location; overlooking the gulf of Mexico. So far, I have no complaints. Thanks to all the staff for their dedication to their patients.

Standard military medical clinic. Appointments take months long waits. It's not bad. It's not good. It just is. However, the pediatrics team is truly caring and I have gotten help readily addressed by the nurses.
