I have been seeing Dr. Almonte for 3 years, and she is the best doctor I've ever had. She has helped me by trying different medication, until we found the ones that work for me. She's very intelligent, sweet, and truly cares. I also really appreciate Katty, who is always so patient, kind and knowledgeable whenever I call. I highly recommend this practice, truly a godsend.

Absolutely wonderful place! Dr. Almonte’s service has been phenomenal and she is very pleasant to talk to. She has helped me immensely with my ADHD and anxiety. Katty at the front desk also deserves a huge round of applause. She has been more than helpful in answering all the questions I have and she even worked alongside me to find a pharmacy that would work for me when the first choice wouldn’t accept my insurance and the second one had the meds on back-order. Just like Dr. Almonte, Katty is also very pleasant to talk to and certainly patient, considering how many questions I was asking her. Though I don’t have much experience when it comes to going to different psychiatrists, I can say for certain that Sunshine Premier is an excellent choice and I’m glad it was the first one I tried!

Love this practice. Convenient location, hours and they usually can fit you in fairly fast! Katty at the front desk is the sweetest and most helpful medical staff I’ve ever encountered. She always goes above and beyond to help clients in every way.

Recently, I have had to find help in dealing with increased Anxiety and Panic . It is debilitating at times, causing my Pulse rate to increase and Blood Pressure to go up . I have had the pleasure to be treated by Dr Almonte. She is very concerned , empathetic and knowledgeable . And very well versed in the symptoms of Anxiety . Initially, a complete history of my health and Anxiety Issues was collected. She allowed time for my input regarding my feelings and concerns . I could not ask for a better physician in the Psychiatric field. I am a retired Registered Nurse and therefore aware that she exemplifies dedicated traits . I am trusting of her opinions and her directions of how she can help me overcome my Anxiety issues . Dr Almonte ‘s assistant Kathy is wonderful . She has the most calming voice via phone . I feel in good hands as soon as she speaks . She always calls back with directions from Dr Almonte regarding how to proceed. I would highly recommend Dr Almonte and staff . Jewel C Johnson

I feel like Dr. Almonte saved my life. I came in with severe depression and a long list of antidepressants that did nothing for me. She was willing to try new things to help me and we ultimately decided I'm a good candidate for TMS therapy (luckily my insurance covered most of the cost).

One year after going through the treatment I can honestly say I no longer feel depressed. I have my ups and downs, but that debilitating depression and suicidal ideation is gone. I still see Dr. Almonte to treat my anxiety and ensure my depression is in check, but overall I feel much better! I had seen 3 psychiatrists prior to her and the difference in attention and treatment is like night and day.

I should also add that the office staff is really nice and everyone speaks Spanish, which is a big plus for me.

There may be many good and kind-hearted Psychiatrists In this world, but Doctor Indhira Almonte is truly exceptional !!! She gave my son all the time he needed to understand his needs. She never rushed us and carefully listened to what we both had to say. She then provided valuable feedback that included immediate action plans. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she also had a great bedside manner. She was truly kind and wanted the best for my son. You feel like you are part of a team with her because she always takes your consideration into account and works with you to improve your wellbeing. Doctor Indhira Almonte was always available and easily reached during the day if concerns came up. Just as important, she also has an excellent staff!!! Her staff members, especially Katy, Yasmin are caring and just amazing. We are so blessed to have her. I highly recommend them!! My experience with Dr Alamonte was wonderful, and I wish I could continue care with her now that I’ve moved to CA.
Alamonte was my first experience with a psychiatrist. I was very scared going into the process, but she made me feel seen, heard, and cared about. She finally gave me the answers I’ve been looking for all these years, ones that PCPs couldn’t provide me.
Every time I got on the video call with Alamonte, I felt like I was reconnecting with a friend.
