I had done telehealth appointments with this facility for a couple months with no issues until recently. I had an 8:00am appointment- I logged on and was greeted by someone (a receptionist/ front desk I assume) where my demographics were verified and payment was collected. I was advised to log out and log back in and the provider would connect with me from there. (This was new and evidently incorrect. I never had to log out previously). After logging back in and being in the “waiting room” for 20+ minutes I received a phone call informing me that I’m a “no show” because I logged out (as I was told) and that I’d be charged for being a no show. I explained to her that I had already checked in, paid, etc so I was obviously not a no show. Despite confirming this, she rudely proceeded to tell me that I’d be charged anyways and I’d have to wait almost a month to reschedule. They aren’t here to HELP you and sadly they couldn’t care less about your mental health. They simply want your money. Tara was amazing, but unfortunately the staff is incredibly rude, unprofessional and obviously uneducated

I'm mentally, emotionally, and physically the best I've ever been. Tara Kidd is so amazing; she always listens to what I have to say. I was going through a lot and called the office to see if I could come in. I was able to see her the same day. She's a pleasure to talk to, and I actually feel heard.

My daughter and I both see Tara Kidd at the Fort Walton beach location. The front desk staff is always kind, empathetic, and helpful. Mrs. Kidd makes sure we (especially my 9 year old) is very comfortable. She asks questions, listens, and has helped us tremendously. She is truly a pleasure! We have seen other great providers in the practice as well, but Mrs. Kidd is our favorite. Thank you!

It was my second meeting, but my first in person appointment. Kristen was very polite, answered my questions, listen closely to what I shared with her, made no judgements, and made me feel very comfortable as we talk and shared. I believe we will have a good working professional relationship that will find a successful outcome and relief.

I have received subpar inconsistent mental health treatment at the VA for the past 16 years. I saw Tara Kidd at BBH yesterday and she was nothing short of amazing! She was very attentive, thorough, and caring. I have never felt so heard and understood by a mental health professional before. I’m looking forward to continuing care with her!

Avoid at all cost! Waste of time and humiliated, very unprofessional! Had to drive all the way to the Niceville location and then back to the Fort Walton location since there was no receptionist to return my call. Apparently it's very common to send you to the Niceville location. Christine didn't even call my wife back to speak to her directly and had her assistant call instead who was a total jerk. My wife ran out of the office in tears. Instead of requesting a diagnosis and then come back, they discharged my wife instead due to refusal of being a guinea pig anymore for anti depressant, she has ADHD from a brain injury. The problem already is being zoned, how would antidepressants help to focus? They don't just make the issue worse. The VA primary care literally told her to go here to get help first. Apparently you should go to psychiatry first, they only care whats in your medical record, why even ask question, work her all up over SA for literally nothing. VETERANS STEER CLEAR. Go to a psych first and go somewhere else. Be nice if the VA would actually accept that request, but maybe in a few more months!

To your reply the one with the brown hair and glasses told both me and my father she is the one who runs the place, and if in fact she isn't then maybe come up with better ways to lie on how to be unprofessional.
Extremely unprofessional when the woman who runs the facility told me she didnt want to see my dad holding my hand while I'm dead in my coffin over xanax yet antidepressants have made self harm and It didn't matter that I've spent almost 10 years of my life trying one antidepressant after another and that I have scars from that kind of medication. Never once asked about my scars after telling season manuel yet continued to push antidepressants which is not an option for me. Refused to keep me on the medication I've been on for over 10 years and the smile with the low laugh season manuel gave me saying she's not comfortable with my medication but antidepressants is the only way and honestly it pushed me into being defensive and on my way out I requested a refund to seek help elsewhere and the owner, brunette with glasses came to the front desk and it led to an argument with the last thing she said to me was " I don't want to see your dad holding your hand while you're dead in your coffin" I went in for help and it's their way or no way and it's not worth the risk of going back to antidepressants which will kill me before my xanax will.

On my final office visit they refused to see me and said I wouldn’t be charged. I just got a bill for that visit.
