My husband went there to be fitted for a foot brace. We explained to the receptionist that we were on a very limited income and would not be able to pay any out of pocket expenses. She checked and told us that except for the one fee, everything else was covered by insurance. We just received a bill for $83.00. I just called to discuss the issue. I spoke with Denise. Now that we had the brace made, they don't seem to mind forgetting all previous conversations we had about the billing and are happy to send the bill to collections. It's a great way to bait and switch, and if you are a senior in a limited income, they don't mind telling you one thing and doing something completely different. Be careful believing anything they say about their billing. They do it with a smile.

I can probably say I am the worst patient. Miss most of my appointments, probably harder on my prosthetic than I should be but still every time I need their help they are always there. Staff has always been friendly, helpful and on point with what needs to be done. I've been told of other places and I should try them out but I don't see the point when I already go somewhere that knows me as me and not the next patient. That's the value I like the most of "my team" at Mid Fla!!

I have been going to Mid-Florida Prosthetics and Orthotics since late 1999. Every concern, every demand and every situation that has ever come up, has been handled by the entire staff was done so professionally and responsibly. I am a RBK amputee and I have had dozens of prosthetics, which all fit properly, only need replacing due to extreme use of products recommended by my Doctor and chosen by me.

Once I got over the first few years without my leg, I discovered custom work. They can do AMAZING THINGS with custom designs. I’ve chosen Many over the years and have the some of sockets as proof.

The office staff has never let me down either with fast courteous service or just the smile needed for the day.

Insurance companies and holiday situations may pose a bad combo for approvals that may not be controlled by the office you may be visiting.

I’m glad I made the choice be treated here. This business has grown and as a result I have grown as a patient with this business... I’ve seen quite a few faces come and go lover the years and the ones that have left retired.... seems like it can’t be that bad if partners and staff stick around for 20+ years...

Me personally, I’ll be here for 20 more if I’m so lucky!!

Everything they did for me was done in a caring way when ever I need supplies , there always punctal. The last prosthetic leg they made for me work great . I think a lot of people wait to long after surgery to get someone to help them out . My first leg was a dinosaur and it was made in Wisconsin about two months after a simes cut ,is at the ankle , took right off walking.

Because they ordered an measured the wrong size brace for me so close to the new year I have to now wait for new ones, and since it will be after new year I will be paying full price..because of there incompetency I'm out 800.00. Should not be such a long drawn out process. And nothing they where willing to help with..poor service

First appointment today with Hand PT, Mary Kennedy. She evaluated my problem and when I walked out 1 hour later I knew I had come to the right price to get my hand problem resolved.
