Our experience was great! We saw a really big difference in my dad from where we started at the beginning of his stay to discharge. I cannot say enough great things about the physical therapy occupational therapy team. I highly recommend encompass.

My dad was there last year and had an amazing experience. He had to go back in December for rehab after cervical surgery. PT & OT are amazing. He had a handful of nurses and aides that you could tell they loved their jobs and were very proficient. Call lights always going off. I was there daily, my father had waited over 20 minutes for someone to help him to the bathroom. Finally a case manager stepped in to get him assistance. I daily had to get him water, apparently that isn't important to whomever is suppose to do that. As of now, he is back at the hospital with an infected bedsore. From the cleanliness, the food and care, it certainly has gone downhill. Ohhhh and his sink had ants 2 different occasions.

I have a loved one stand here and so far everything is going well and the people at the front desk and the rest of the staff have been very kind. I'm also glad to see that the facilities are safer when it comes to the showering and everything compared to some hospitals

Encompass Rehab provided my dear mother-in-law with a superior healthcare experience. She went there after surgery to repair a broken hip. Uniformly, the care was excellent. The entire staff, even those without direct responsibility for her care, was professional, skillful, kind, interested and patient. A special shout-out to Kim Young, an amazing case manager, and the all the physical and occupational therapists who never failed to incorporate good cheer into difficult tasks.

I recently fell and broke my hip. I had hip replacement surgery. Because of the trauma I suffered, I was recommended to receive rehabilitation services after my hospital stay to help regain my ability to safely walk and perform self care tasks such as dressing, bathing, etc. I spent ten days at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. It was a wonderful experience. For three hours each day, occupational and physical therapists worked with me. I learned to use a walker to get around, performed strengthening exercises, and practiced skills like climbing stairs and getting into a car. Everything about my experience was top notch. I had a lovely private room. The food was tasty. And best of all, the staff was caring and professional. I recommend Encompass 100% to anyone who needs physical rehab services.

Once the best in Ocala but my recent experience left much to be desired. Unless you have a strong knowledgeable advocate your level of attention is minimal. The case worker was adamant about releasing the patient back home when even both physical and occupational therapists thought he needed more time. Very disappointed.

Have severe pain issues when admitted to Ocala facility. Doctors have nurses administere medicine, but NO one follows up if what they did is working. In room right now called for help 13 minutes before aid answered call only to say that she will let the nurse know she is needed .
Took nurse additional 24 minutes to get to the room.
That is NOT A+ service

The staff is constantly standing around playing on phone. They do not pay attention to the alarms or call button. Waited 10 to 15 minutes for them to come. Food I guess if you can call it that is bad. As far as watching over your love ones. Your better off with a Baby monitor or a life alert system. They do not pay attention at all. Not going to say everyone is bad but most. Most of all my mom was so upset that a man came in and took all her clothes off and she felt Violated she even told them to stop but they continued. She wanted a woman to do it.
