Needed a new primary care and got a recommendation of Dr. Brown and his office from a dear friend. From making my first appointment on the phone to the actual day, everything went super. Very happy. Office was nice, had a good feel, decorated nicely, all the office staff were very nice and helpful. Dr. Brown had a waitlist for new patients, so I got assigned to one of his nurse practitioners. Jennifer is very good and I like her a lot. The visit went as good and as smooth as I could have asked for, and even better. Had to fill out barely any paperwork, everyone had masks on, all the patients were asked to washed their hands before going in, and all the staff members were very friendly. Jennifer was funny, kind, understanding, took her time, made sure I understood everything, and didn't have any questions. Felt genuinely cared for, comfortable, and informed by everyone. They don't take Medicaid, but we were able to private pay without any issues.

I have been with Dr brown and his staff for quite sometime now and I would highly recommend them. Especially if your looking for a doctor who is knowledgeable and cares about his patients. Also his staff has always answered my messages promptly and communicated with ease. Wait times are not overly long even when you do a walk in. Please keep in mind that Google reviews are so vague and one sided, so as a reader I would be weary to judge an opinion of Dr brown and his staff off these reviews. Make an appointment, be patient and be seen. Then you will have your own opinion. I feel that you will appreciate them as I do

Dr. Brown seems like a good family practice Dr. but his staff is a mess. He is clearly overworked and his office staff acts like they could care less. His record keeping system does not connect to anything so on my first appointment, all he did was key in my medical history. The only vitals that were taken of me was my blood pressure and it was not even close to being correct. I was shuttled between three different exam rooms, each which was overloaded with old magazines and journals. Dr. Brown wanted to see me back within a month, but his schedule did not allow it. His office staff told me they would try to put me on a cancellation list, but never contacted me back. Dr. Brown, may be a very good doctor and he really seems to care, but with his terrible office staff and systems, you will never get any help from them if you need them when you get sick.

Doctor Browns a really good doctor best I've had in many many years. I've been a patient of his for 8 or 9yrs. I've tried for yrs to get him to start his own private practice and stop working under the thumb of Dr. Yoon. But he won't for now anyway hopefully one day. My family are looking for that day to happen. He needs to be treated better after all he has 80 to 90% or more of the patient's that comes to see him!! Dr. Browns is a super good doctor makes me feel like a friend not just a patient.

Jena Medical and Dr James Brown is worthy of anyone looking for a primary care Doctor. The staff is very polite, caring, and helpful. Dr Brown takes plenty of time to address patients concerns and come up with a care plan that fits the patient. At times the wait can be long but I believe this is due to the care delivered from staff and Dr Brown.

This doctor does NOT care about patients! You are simply a number! He has WAY too many patients and can't help ones in immediate need. Yes you can be a walk in however when you are sick or in need of help waiting TWELVE hours to be seen is NOT what any patient needs! My mother has called twice begging to be seen or helped and for 2 days now we have gotten zero response! SHAME ON YOU DR. BROWN!!! So much for your hippocratic oath!

Doctor Brown is a fantastic dr. I moved and have been trying to find a pcp for over a year. No one has been as caring and genuine as him. Wait time can be very long at times, but worth it. A lot of doctors will spend 10 minutes with you and then leave, but he takes time and goes through any issues you might have. I would reccomend him to anyone looking for a doctor in this area!

Dr Brown is a good, caring dr, however he works under the tyrannical dictates of Dr Yoon who understaffs the office. These overworked employees are rude and uncaring and I would NOT recommend this practice. Hoping for the day that Dr Brown gets his own practice or moves to another one.
