I was at The Goldton at Venice visiting my Grandmother for the first time since she moved into the assisted living. The building is beautiful, clean, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I got off the elevator and they greeted me the second I walked out. We had lunch in the Bistro and they had quick service and the food was wonderful. This makes me very happy that my Grandmother is very well taken care of and she is loves the place!

LOVE the Goldton! My grandma lives here. Since the time she’s moved in, we’ve heard nothing but great things about the staff and the experiences that are planned for the seniors. She especially always mentions Anna as her favorite 🙂 Every week I look forward to talking to my grandma because I know she’s going to tell me about the excitement she’s had for the week. Thank you to all the staff at the Goldton for treating my grandma like family and looking after her!

Update: I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but I can’t not say anything to what happened. My grandmother fell the week after Christmas. She said they took X-rays but nothing was found. When I arrived on January 11, my grandmother could not walk, was wheelchair bound, and was in a lot pain. Right away I noticed her foot and leg were swollen. We spoke to the Medical Wellness Director who then ordered compression socks and a new x-ray. Come to find out she did have a broken hip. I’m NOT blaming them for the fall but I was upset that there was 0 documentation of her fall and she was overlooked for 2 weeks with her pain and swelling. I had call logs that showed the 4-5AM calls I received from their nurse about the fall. I flew in from New Jersey to handle the sale of the house and her car to a whole new problem. If I didn’t come when I did, how long would she have continued to be in pain and swollen unnoticed? I hope it was a serious lesson learned but make sure things are taken care of and documented with your loved ones.

My grandmother moved in to this facility on November 29. I have seen her truly blossom being at The Goldton. The all inclusive rate makes perfect sense in the long run vs a plan of care. Everything she needs is right there and the facility is gorgeous! You can tell the difference executive director, wellness director, and sales director really do care about the outcome of their residents, and it’s not just a sales pitch to get you in the door.

The Goldton at Venice went above and beyond for anyone and everyone that needed a safe place for Hurricane Milton. My mother lives in Venice and once she heard they were taking anyone who needs shelter we went running. Being in zone A was terrifying, not knowing what was coming for us. Getting to the building they had a room assigned to us with everything we would need to feel at home. The building lost power but with the generator kicking on, it kept the building going strong! Worried about what would happen if my mother couldn’t get power for her CPAP, their staff went running around to all the residents and guests that needed power for their devices. The staff of this building went BEYOND expectations to make sure we all felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend The Goldton at Venice!!!!

My daughter works at The Goldton, this was her first hurricane experience. It was important for her to be with us during the hurricane. Laura and her team went above and beyond giving us a place to stay with our 3 dogs. My family felt safe, it was like staying at a luxury resort with the kindest staff during a very stressful time for all! Thank you for providing a wonderful opportunity for Jasmine with the sales team and for all the care that you provided to your community during Hurricane Milton.
