My son and I had been sick with painful sore throats for four days, and our symptoms weren’t improving. What finally prompted me to visit the doctor was noticing white spots on my tonsils. The staff at the clinic was friendly, and Dr. Forman was also pleasant. However, when he examined my throat, he said he did not see any white spots. I mentioned that I had taken a picture, but his pushback was so strong that I felt it was best to just drop it. He also stated that my throat didn’t appear consistent with strep.

We were both tested for flu and strep, and the results came back negative. Dr. Forman assured us that our symptoms would clear up on their own. However, after leaving the appointment, I checked my throat in my car’s mirror and could clearly see the same white spots I had noticed earlier.

That night was another awful one for both my son and me, so the next morning, I decided to get a second opinion at AdventHealth Centra Care. They immediately tested us for strep, and both of our results came back positive. We were finally given the treatment we needed.

I don’t know exactly how the ball was dropped, but it’s concerning that a mother and her six-year-old child could go to a clinic with clear strep symptoms, be examined by a doctor, tested for strep, and still receive negative results. This experience left me questioning how such a misdiagnosis could happen, especially when our symptoms were so evident

I’ve been going to Florida Medical walk in located at 2352 Bruce B Downs for years now. I have always been lucky enough to see Dr.Foreman for Bronchitis and he listens to what I say on how I feel , he does a thorough exam and would always prescribe me the correct medication to get rid of it. However today, I was seen by a Marcie Kumlien who I will never see again! She spend less then 2 minutes with me , told me I sounded fine ( which I don’t) and when I said my chart will tell you what I need to get rid of it so flat out said I’ll prescribe an antibiotic and 3 steroids . I know what I need to get rid of it and it’s not 3 steroids . I know my body and how I feel. She never once turned the computer on to see my history . So I spent money on a co pay which is a lot for a 2 minute visit to be told to come back if I don’t feel well in 2 days! Are you kidding me ? Come back and spend another co pay fee because you didn’t want to take the time to look at my history or check me out thoroughly? I’ve never had an experience like this and please if you have to go there do not see her , it will be a waste of your time , money and no bedside manner at all. I’m not sure I’ll ever go back and all the recommendations I had given them , well no more . Very disappointing after all these years .

I went to Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health and the staff are overly judgmental, rude, despicable and nosy beyond comprehension. Instead of asking for proof of my name change they jumped to conclusions and decided it’s not my insurance. Listen to how hypocritical this is, they were disrespectful and degrading my credibility and assuming I was committing insurance fraud yet the doctor only saw me to bill my insurance company for money for a visit they knew before hand they were going to refuse treatment. Now, why do they believe it’s okay to be unethical but yet vetting my credibility The doctor refused to prescribe my medication and refused to treat me because he was playing insurance detective…

What kind of oaths did he take, was it to treat patients or play insurance detective I felt belittled and that my credibility was questioned. You would thought they were half intelligent enough to asked for proof of name change instead of assuming…People like this I am not sure if they are even intelligent enough to treat anyone.

I would never send a stray dog to this place. It’s unwelcoming, doctors look down on people and they think people are so brainless and not understanding belittling, degrading or questioning of their credibility.

I will find somewhere else to go. I wish I had read the reviews first; experienced some common themes. If you have insurance that is accepted elsewhere, I'd advise taking that option instead.

I went to Florida Medical clinic on 14320 Bruce B downs. I never got to see the actual doctor I made an appt with. I had billing questions about my recommended care.

When I went to Florida Medical Clinic I asked the lady who I was told worked in the "billing department" Daniella if wearing a heart monitor would cost out of pocket or be a part of the office visit. I was told that in the last 3 years she has never receive a single call about a bill and that there should be no bill. After I called them and told them I received a bill (This is speaking to Dr. Gerczuk office) I was told a Daniella would call me back. I waited 3 weeks and talked to her today where she got into a screaming match with me stating I didnt meet my deductible. I said I understand this but YOU told me there would not be a bill for this and it was included in the visit and therefore deductible isnt a factor. I decided to move forward based off the information you provided to me. I was interrupted several times after waiting 3 weeks to have this person call me back. And then was yelled at by Daniella saying I need to respect a women when I asked her not to talk over me. (I am not sure why gender was brought up). I have been ignored by this place, given the wrong info, yelled at, and now stuck with a bill due to being given the wrong information.

This is a great little clinic. If you need the ER because you are bleeding or seriously ill go there. If you need quick care for a simple injury, stitches, make sure the bone isn't broken or a UTI, this is the place.

Having had favorable experiences before at the Urgent Care Center, I went there yesterday for . medical care. I can’t say enough expressing gratitude for the level of care I received there. The reception helped me complete the registration part. The waiting period was short and the utmost discretion was used to ask me if I could give them a urine sample as others were still in the waiting room. Inside the exam room, the young woman was very thorough and pleasantly professional.
Marcie and Lisa made my day. They listened to me, made a to-be-determined diagnosis pending, further testing. Marcie said the results wouldn’t be in for a couple of days. This morning I received a call with the results and a prescription was already sent to CVS. Marcie and Lisa are an asset to FMC-OH. So grateful they were on duty yesterday.

I was pleased with the service and care that was provided here. The checkin process was orderly and they serve patients in order that they arrive. The front end ladies were nice and efficient. The only thing that I found irritating was that there were two separate families of five in the waiting room. The kids were extremely loud and "shrieking." It made for a not so pleasant waiting experience. If the parents did a better job at supervising the kids, it would not have been as annoying. Once in the back, the doctor saw me almost immediately. The techs were efficient too. I did not see Dr. Forman this time, but the Dr. I saw was excellent.
