I have had prostate issues for over 15 years.
I moved to Florida 2 years ago and was recently referred to Dr Kuo by Dr Katie Flower.
Both are excellent urologists..Based on my past history and current condition ( very large prostate) it was recommended I have the Helop procedure.
Dr Kuo performed the surgery approximately 3 weeks ago and all is going very well.
I am extremely pleased with the results.

I have been a patient of Dr Kuo for 2 years now and have yet to meet him. Received an order for blood work, had it completed. First appointment was then mis scheduled so I had a teleconference appointment with Dr Wren. Second appointment was today 2/18/25 (one year later) for 7:45 am and they did not have me scheduled when I arrived! The woman behind the desk didn’t apologize nor try to reschedule me! I scheduled it 3 weeks ago lol. The office staff is absolutely terrible. Both appointments were not scheduled on their end. I had name, time and date of person scheduling and the best I received was sorry, I’ve only been here 3 months lol. Office staff is more concerned with deflecting blame than helping you. Time to find another urologist!!

Recently I found myself in need of a new urologist when it was determined I needed surgery. During my research I found that Dr. Ramsay Kuo was certified to preform the procedure (HoLEP)my brother highly recommended. During my first visit Dr. Kuo took time to explain what the procedure was, where he received his training, how this procedure differed from other types of surgery options available to me and reviewed potential post surgery issues and recovery. He answered every question I had and made me feel comfortable in deciding to have the procedure done. His professional demeanor and calming voice carried through each step from first visit, through surgery and all follow up appointments. I have recommended Dr. Kuo to several friends and neighbors all of whom have seconded my opinion of his personality, knowledge and the professionalism of both him and his staff.

Sent to incorrect location X3. Two scheduled Telehealth appointments unsuccessful. Waited 2 hours for each and Dr. Kuo never came to the phone. Office staff abrupt and unhelpful. Worst health care I have ever received ìn Sarasota.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID this whole practice! They have cancel me twice because the Dr. went on vacation. They call me two days before my appointment. Apparently they over book everyone and want me to wait another 6 Months. I told then this was not fair and the response was "sorry their is nothing we can do you can go some where else". Please do you a favor and stay away from this location.

I saw Doctor Kuo twice for kidney stones during pregnancy when he was in NY and he is phenomenal. He took so much time and care to answer my questions with clarity and patience. You may have to wait for appointments, but once you see the reason why and how thorough he is in explaining things, you really won't mind the wait. 10/10 recommend.

I just came to find his information to refer a friend and was so sad to see he moved to Florida!
