I recently had an emergency and visited Starkey Ranch ER & Hospital, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care I received. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by the level of technology and innovation they have incorporated into their facility—it truly felt state-of-the-art.

Beyond the advanced medical equipment, what stood out the most was the outstanding customer service. Every staff member I encountered was compassionate, professional, and attentive, making me feel like a VIP rather than just another patient. They took the time to listen, explain, and ensure I was comfortable throughout my visit.

Having been in other medical facilities before, I can confidently say that Starkey Ranch ER & Hospital sets a new standard for emergency and hospital care. Their dedication to both medical excellence and patient experience is truly commendable. My family and I cannot thank the team at Starkey Ranch ER enough for the outstanding care they provided my wife during a very stressful and painful episode.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate, efficient, and incredibly skilled. The front desk got us checked in quickly, and within minutes, a nurse was by our side, calmly explaining what would happen next. The doctor took the time to listen to our concerns, thoroughly assessed the situation, and made sure we understood every step of the process. The MRI technician was very professional and knowledgeable making the MRI scan as comfortable as possible.
What stood out most was how well they treated my wife. They were gentle, reassuring, and attentive, making sure pain was managed promptly and effectively.
The facility itself was clean and well-organized, but it was the human touch that made the difference. My wife left stabilized and on the road to recovery, and we left with peace of mind knowing they’d been in the best hands. This ER team truly went above and beyond—we’re so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough !

I had the best experience at Starkey Ranch ER. They are new to opening so they aren't set up to take Medicare yet but with the help of a very good friend being with me and knowing some of the people there Dr. Volle seen me and took care of my problem along with the help of very nice and friendly nurses Liz and Debbie. All this happened after Tiffany at the front desk made a phone call for my friend. This is a fabulous place to go to if you have a medical emergency. They are the best people and hope Dr. Volle is there to take care of you. He is the best. I will pray they get cleared with Medicare soon. This will be my go to place from now on. Highly recommend this ER! I was greeted by the very friendly front desk staff and the check in process was simple. I only waited a few minutes before being brought back to a room to speak with a nurse and a physician and I for the first time in the last few weeks felt like I was really being listened to and all of my concerns were being addressed. Nurse Jess and Dr O’Brien were great and answered any questions I had and the CT tech was very kind and explained everything very thoroughly. Definitely glad I decided to use this ER and highly recommend!

All the staff were very kind, welcoming and very gentle during my visit. I didn’t feel rushed out and they made sure I was comfortable. My personal situation, I felt like the process went smoothly and as fast as they could do it. I did not have to wait but 5 minutes and was put into a room. Dr came in within 15 minutes and got right down to finding out the root cause and providing me with all the next steps. Thank you for a smooth visit.

Babysitting for my seven year-old grandson, turned into a potential nightmare when a slip and fall Poolside resulted in a deep laceration to the back of his head. We were only 1 mile away from Sharkey ER and hospital. When we arrived, the experience was fantastic from the front desk receptionist to the outstanding nursing care to Dr. V.s excellent care. Seven staples to the head later, my grandson had such an incredible experience he said “this place is fun“. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. I have been a dentist for 42 years and understand when I see great clinical care and a well trained administrative staff. Five stars is an easy recommendation.

Special thanks to Dr Barlow, Nurse Jess and Michelle!! This place is very outstanding!! I came here for a medical issue I was having and i’m very glad i did! Someone greeted me at the door and made the check in experience very easy, she was very nice! I got taken back within minutes, Jess and Michelle were great nurses!! They were both very very kind and didn’t hesitate with anything I needed/asked for. They listened to me talk, and helped a lot! Dr Barlow was my doctor and he was absolutely great as well! He went out of his way and did extra steps to help me and make sure I got the treatment I needed. I got imaging done and was told the results would take a while but that he’d reach out when he got the report back. He took his to time to call me after I was discharged with the results and even texted me back when I had questions about the results. Another doctor from the ER called me the next morning to check in and see if there was anything else I needed, which I thought was very kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! It was very pretty too, very clean, and even had private rooms with a door which is great!! Definitely will be coming back if I never need to. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Recently I had to go to Starkey ER unfortunately due to a back injury which was causing me agonizing pain. I was treated by Dr. Barlow and Kyle during my visit and Sandy at the front desk. Let me start off by saying this…not that I am wishing any future ER visits upon myself or anyone but Starkey ER was phenomenal as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. Sandy was super helpful, patient and courteous while assisting us with check in and answered all the questions we had. Dr. Barlow was incredible, knowledgeable and I was super fortunate to have him as the Doctor that cared for me. Kyle started an IV and administered some medication to assist with the pain. One of the meds immediately began to make me feel extremely off and I was assured by Kyle it was totally normal to be feeling that side effect. Not only did he continue to reassure me, Kyle stayed in the room by my side until I felt better and more normal in which I found to be extremely important and was impressed on how he went above and beyond. Dr. Barlow and his team that night were incredible and I can’t thank them enough! Excellent patient care well done.
