I have been going to the medical Center since I was 7 years old. It used to be the best place, with doctors that actually cared about you, and knew you. For the last 4 years, they have gone down hill, so badly. I have gone through at least 8 different drs in the last 2 years, because none of them stay there. I love the dr I have now but, there is something wrong with the office staff. They are constantly making errors, every single time I call to have my meds refilled. I called my meds in 3 days ago, then called the pharmacy to see if they were ready and they hadn’t received anything. When I called the office, I was told one med was no longer on my list and that it had been discontinued, and she stated that it hadn’t been filled since 2021! I told them that wasn’t true, that I had the bottle in hand and gave her the date. After about 10 mins, she said oh, ok I see that now, I’m not sure why this other person said they had been discontinued or why someone removed it from your med list! Like seriously! This isn’t a minor screw up, it a major one and things like this, just keep happening. They need to hire qualified people to work in the office! I am now out of a very important medication and, it still has yet to be called over to the pharmacy! ?♀️ update on my last review. I changed to 3 stars instead of two. Right now they have no real people to answer phone calls and things are running smoother than when they did. ?

This is my 6th time being rescheduled in 2024. It’s March.
When I get to see Myra, she’s very helpful, but she’s leaving the practice in a week. Other than that, it’s medical gaslighting up the wazoo. I had to fight for a year for a hashimotos diagnosis, and have the doctors I see there still doubt it, even though the blood test is literally in my file, just because I’m not heavy.
No words, dude. Peak example of the medical system failing in this country.

My husband and I are both disabled veterans. We just bought and moved into a house approximately 0.1 mile down the road from this office. We filled out and turned in all of the necessary paperwork to initiate care here. However, that was well over a month ago, and the office has not contacted us once regarding any care or appointments. We called to follow up about 2 weeks ago, and we were told that it takes about 6 weeks for them to process the paperwork. Understandable, however that timeframe has passed and we still have not heard anything. At this point we can’t recommend this place. Which is unfortunate considering it would have been the most convenient location. I was in the medical field in the military, and this is most definitely not the way to run a medical office.

Refused to make an appointment, unless my daughter paid the 40.00 owed. My daughter was in express care the day prior. Refusal of care for a 40.00 bill ahe couldnt afford at the time. I couldnt believe it! My daughter will be finding a new provider and doctors office! This place is horrible!

Stay away! Unprofessional, on hold for hours at a time, a particular pcp states one thing & ends up doing the opposite, never reviews patient information prior to calling patient, repeatedly avoided addressing the problems at hand, thinks a one-size fits all gor every medication no matter if you are elderly nor pediatric,and is often on a power trip. Bedside manner of a wet turtle.
You are better off fending for yourself.

I've been going to DFD Russell medical center for the last 20yrs. The staff are friendly and polite, they are very knowledgeable and will treat you with dignity and respect. I've delivered 3 babies while using a midwife from there that partnered with cmmc.I highly recommend the Monmouth office, although Leeds and Turner have been great as well. Keep your appts, inform them of any issue or concern you may have and they will try their very best to accommodate you. I've had nothing but positive experiences with every interaction. Let me put this out there... "The problem is not the problem, the problem is YOUR response to the problem." If you feel you were treated unkindly or didn't get what you were looking for you may need to reflect on how you treated them / how you responded. Sugar attracts more flies than vinegar and ignorance is bliss, js.

Since covid .. if you have any little symptom ( fever, or a cough, even if you tell them it's not COVID as you took a test... you are asked to go in the back door and your brought into what is a storage room that they made into an exam room. Not happy being treated poorly!

Never saw the same doctor..it was either her day off or she was at another practice and always getting sent somewhere else to another location instead of the one right on our road within walking distance. Awful just inconsistent.
